They had a fabulous time and sailed until sunset enjoying gourmet food freshly prepared on board; they drank fine wine and enjoyed champagne toasts. There was music and dancing and the kids were able to watch movies and play games. The views were stunning and the weather was absolutely perfect. Bette was the first to make a toast.

“To my Tee; you are the love of my life. The greatest gift you have given me other than your heart has been our beautiful angelic daughter appropriately named Angelica. Thank you for blessing me and choosing me to be her other mother. I love you both with all that I am.”

Everyone drank to Tina and Bette kissed her; then it was her turn to toast Bette.

“To Bette, my forever love. There was never any other that I wanted to parent a child with. We conceived of her together and she is the perfect reflection of our love. I love you both. You are my world.”

Everyone drank to Bette and they share another sweet kiss. Then Angie does her toast.

“I love my Momma and Mommy. They are the best mommies in the world and I love all my aunties and my Earth Mother Aunt Alice. I didn’t used to think that I was lucky because my mommies didn’t live together but now we do. This is my happiest Mother’s Day ever.”

Of course everyone gets sentimental. Both Bette and Tina are practically in tears as they hug and kiss their little angel.

Emma’s turn.

“My Liz has already blessed me with one beautiful daughter Suzie who is my heart and now she’s pregnant with our second child. To quote Angie “This is my happiest Mother’s Day ever”. We look forward to celebrating next Mother’s Day with a new addition to the family.”

This was the first public announcement of the pregnancy and everyone congratulated Emma and Liz. They all continue with toasting the other mothers and celebrating their special day. By the time they got off the boat they were all windblown and a bit tipsy from the sun, drinking and eating that they had indulged in all day.

The limo drivers were waiting for them as soon as they docked. Shane decided to hang out with Leigh so she didn’t take the limo back. Monica drove everyone else to Bette’s house and the other driver took the other group to their homes.
