Bandit, Cash and Colbie
“So, coffee and the usual.”
“Yes. Please. Thank you.”
“The usual for you two?”
“Yes, please,” Dana said.
“Hmm…surprise me with something new.”
Kit nodded.
“Hey Kit,” Shane said.
“Heyyyyy. The usual?”
“You know me well.”
Kit nodded and left to put in their order.
“Fancy meeting you guys here,” Shane said as she sat next to Tina.
“Hey Shane,” Tina gave her a hug.
“Hey,” Dana and Alice said.
Alice grunted.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Al?”
“These two maniacs made me run at 6:30 this morning.”
“You. You went running with the tennis champ and the world class runner?”
“I don’t think I like your tone. What are you insinuating?”
“All I’m saying is…that explains your face right now.”
They all looked at Alice as she grimaced.
“You did so good, Al,” Tina chimed in.
“So good,” Dana said.
“Thank you very much. I kicked a little ass this morning.”
“It looks like your ass got kicked,” Shane retorted.
They all laughed.
“Yeah…it did,” Alice chuckled.
Kit brought their usuals. Dana got an egg white omelet with extra veggies and a side of fruit. Alice got avocado toast and bacon. Shane got pancakes and scrambled eggs.
Kit brought a yogurt parfait and a side of bacon for Tina. A few seconds later, a waiter placed a plate in front of Tina.
“Oh my goodness. What is this?”
Kit smiled.
“I’m testing out a new cinnamon bun recipe.”
“It’s the size of my head.”
Kit laughed.
“Yes. It’s meant to be shared. I think I’m going to do a special limited time shareable menu. Just to test it out.”
“That’s a great idea, Kit. Especially since you get a lot of people coming on dates in here,” Alice said.
“Yeah,” Shane said.
Dana was drooling.
“Give me some of that, Tee,” Alice poised her fork ready to dive in.
“Of course. Dig in. all of you. I can’t eat this by myself.”
Alice was the first to pounce. Followed by Dana and Shane. Kit waited to see their reaction.
“Oh my God.”
“This is fucking delicious.”
“I can die now.”
“Kit, this is the best cinnamon bun I’ve ever eaten,” Tina smiled, showing off all of her chin dimples.
“You’re not just saying that? You really like it?”

Nice date…. just how much longer of this closeness can they do without allowing themselves the intimacy of actually being together? Time to commit! Time to put the past into the past and go forward….
Thanks for the chapter… looking forward to more.
Wow…. That was hot!
I think Bette has tutured Tina enough. And Tina has learned her lesson. They should move forward already.
