Bandit, Cash and Colbie
Kit’s face lit up on Bette’s phone.
“Hey Kit.”
“How’s my Baby Sis?”
Bette smiled. She loved her big sister so much.
“I’m good. Just got out of the pool.”
“Uh oh. Talk to me.”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
“Mmm hmm. How was your date yesterday?”
Bette smiled.
“It was surprising. We talked a lot.”
“Keep talking. That’s how you’re going to get through this…together. Keep talking.”
“Yeah. It’s just so emotional. I have been through the fucking ringer.”
“Are you making progress?”
“Yes.”
“You still have a ways to go through that ringer. Be strong, Baby Girl. Keep your heart open.”
“I’m trying.”
“Try harder. Am I going to see you today?”
“Ummm…I’m not sure. Depends on these meetings. I may need to place an order for delivery. I’m taking Tina on a little adventure today.”
“I love that. Just let me know what you need and you know I got you.”
“Thanks, Kit.”
“I love you, Baby Girl.”
“I love you too.”
Bette thought about Tina as she finished her yogurt and coffee.

Tina smiled as she thought about the note Bette left for her.
Thank you for breakfast. I loved the heart. xo
“What are you smiling at, Baby Girl?” Kit asked Tina.
Tina blushed.
“Wait. Let me guess. My Baby Sis?”
Tina blushed some more.
“Is it that obvious?”
“You are sitting here with a silly grin on your face. That’s how you used to look before all of this rigamarole happened. That’s your ‘I’m in love with Bette’ face.”
“I am in love with Bette.”
“I know. And she knows it too.”
“I hope so.”
“She does. I hear you had a pretty great day yesterday.”
“We did. Wait. Did she say that?”
“How else would I have known if one of you hadn’t told me?”
Kit winked at Tina. Tina blinked back because she didn’t know how to wink.
“I’m so glad you’re here already, Tee. I am starving,” Alice said as she plopped down.
Dana sat next to Alice.
“Well, hello to you too,” Kit put her hand on her hip.
“Sorry, Kit. Hey. But listen to this. Tee and Dana had me out at 6:30 this morning. Then guess what they made me do…RUN! Kit, I was running at 6:30 this morning.”

Nice date…. just how much longer of this closeness can they do without allowing themselves the intimacy of actually being together? Time to commit! Time to put the past into the past and go forward….
Thanks for the chapter… looking forward to more.
Wow…. That was hot!
I think Bette has tutured Tina enough. And Tina has learned her lesson. They should move forward already.
I love this story. Please keep writing. Thank you so much
Oh, I so want this story to continue! Great storytelling and really exceptionally written dialogues!
