    (Alice) No, why do you ask? Bette shrugs and has a sip of her drink. (Bette) No reason Alice shakes her head and smiles as she looks back to Tina and Helena. (Alice) Well it’s Helena, so it’s pretty safe to assume it’s a date. But I’ve never seen the blonde before Alice sips from

    (Alice) No, why do you ask?

    Bette shrugs and has a sip of her drink.

    (Bette) No reason

    Alice shakes her head and smiles as she looks back to Tina and Helena.

    (Alice) Well it’s Helena, so it’s pretty safe to assume it’s a date. But I’ve never seen the blonde before

    Alice sips from her straw and they both watch them for a moment, both noticing their comfortable rapport.

    (Alice) If it’s a date it certainly seems to be going very well

     

    Across the room, Tina and Helena sit alongside each other in a booth. Tina sits leaning back and Helena leans her elbow into the back of the couch, resting her head into her hand and smiling at her.

    (Helena) So, what was it this time?

    Tina gives her a reproachful look as she picks up her glass.

    (Tina) I don’t know what you mean

    (Helena smiles) Come on, out with it. I thought the casual arrangement actually suited both sides for once, but she overstepped in some way did she?

    Tina has a sip of her drink and looks away and shakes her head.

    (Helena) Moving in together?

    Tina frowns.

    (Helena) No, that’s too far. She wouldn’t ask such a big thing of you, it can scare even a normal person away

    Tina punches her arm.

    (Helena) Asked you to meet her family? Or maybe just her friends?

    Tina sighs.

    (Helena) Referred to you as her girlfriend?

    Tina stops and looks at her. Helena smiles and points towards her.

    (Helena) Ah, there it is

    They share a look and Helena shrugs.

    (Helena) Well, read the room Melanie. Such a rookie mistake with you. These women should really ask for my advice

    Tina shakes her head and smiles as she has a sip of wine.

    (Helena) This one was around a bit longer than usual though

    (Tina sighs) Yes, well I honestly thought that she was fine with our arrangement, right up until that moment. I would have ended it long ago if I had any indication that wasn’t the case

    Helena nods and raises her eyebrows.

    (Helena) I know

    Tina shakes her head and sighs.

    (Tina) I never promise anything Hel, and I’m very clear about my boundaries

    Helena sighs and looks at her affectionately.

    2. Ahh their first meeting with a twist, I cannot wait to see your take on this and very clearly love at first sight but I love playful Tina here with her responses and how she is with Bette. And then again when they meet and leave together, thank you so much for your creativity and writing your fanfics this is perfect ahhh I’m speechless I cannot wait to read the rest of this fic

    7. Hmmmmmm this little ditty is gonna be interesting. Tina thinks she’s gonna put Bette in the “one night stand category….and Bette is proficient at doing such by the boldness of her flirtations…..so something’s gotta give!
