    (Tina) OK Bette gives her a reassuring smile. (Bette) How are you feeling about meeting her? Tina takes a breath and smiles. (Tina) Nervous, but excited as well. I don’t even really know how to talk to a 12 year old Bette laughs. (Bette) Well she isn’t your usual 12 year old. She kind of

    Bette gives her a reassuring smile.

    (Bette) How are you feeling about meeting her?

    Tina takes a breath and smiles.

    (Tina) Nervous, but excited as well. I don’t even really know how to talk to a 12 year old

    Bette laughs.

    (Bette) Well she isn’t your usual 12 year old. She kind of just talks like us

    They smile at each other. Tina has a bite of toast and Bette watches her.

    (Bette) What do you think? Is it the right thing to bring her in on this?

    (Tina smiles) Baby I love that you’re being so inclusive but I don’t think I really get a say here

    (Bette) I know this situation is beyond weird

    Tina nods with raised eyebrows and they smile at each other.

    (Bette) But you’re still her mother too. It seems strange to not ask for your input when it’s something so important

    Tina reaches towards her and places her hand over Bette’s.

    (Tina) Thank you, but I’m going to defer to you on this one. I know it must be very strange for you still, but I don’t know Angelica. Not yet anyway. If you think it’s best that we tell her then I think we should do that


    They finish their breakfast and Bette clears everything away. Tina sits reading the paper and finishing her coffee at the bench and Bette speaks to her as she places their plates in the dishwasher.

    (Bette) I should start to get ready if I’m going to make this meeting

    Tina answers without looking up.

    (Tina) Sure baby

    When Bette doesn’t say anything further Tina looks up and they meet eyes. Tina looks at her for a moment and then laughs and shakes her head.

    (Tina) Sorry, I guess I should leave

    Bette smiles at her and Tina cringes.

    (Tina) I keep forgetting I don’t live here

    Bette looks at her for a moment before taking a step towards her.

    (Bette) Did you want to spend the morning here? Go from here to your appointment?

    Tina smiles and shakes her head.

    (Tina) Sorry, no, that’s ok

    Tina shrugs.

    (Tina) I guess it doesn’t feel weird to me to be here without you, but obviously that would be for you

    1. Wow, now things are going to get complex – now Angie knows but she is some what scared to meet Tina?

      Well, she went into this state of mind when she went out to a club with the girls. Will a repeat of that event cause her to revert back to her old self?

    3. Ok Angelica knows it now and goes for a sleepover to a friend, i can imagine she can’t believe it, i wouldn’t believe it either.

      A night out to the club, why do I have the feeling something will happen?
