    The next evening, Tina is lying in bed in Alice’s spare bedroom and answers her cell.

    (Tina) Hey baby

    (Bette smiles) Hey, is it too late to call?

    (Tina smiles) No, of course not. Everything ok?

    (Bette) Yes, everything’s fine. I’ve just been watching movies with Angie, I didn’t realise it had gotten so late and I meant to call tonight

    (Tina smiles) Call anytime baby. How’s everything going there? Angelica’s ok?

    (Bette) She’s ok. She still doesn’t want to talk about anything but I liked having a relaxed night together

    Bette sighs.

    (Bette) I miss you though

    (Tina smiles) I miss you too. When can I see you again do you think?

    (Bette) I can take another day later in the week, but the next couple of days are just too hectic

    (Tina smiles) Baby you don’t need to take time off work

    (Bette) It’s fine. I want to

    (Bette) It’s harder to see each other with Angie back, and I don’t want to wait until the weekend

    (Tina) Well I’m going to the Planet tomorrow night, Alice is going to rally everyone I think. Would that be impossible to manage with Angelica?

    (Bette) No, not impossible. I wouldn’t usually go out during the week when she’s with me, but I could organise for her to go to her friend’s house. She’d be only two doors down anyway

    (Tina) She wouldn’t mind?

    (Bette sighs) No, she’d like it. She’d probably like the break from me. She said I’m looking at her too much, and too weirdly apparently

    Tina smiles.

    (Tina) You’re worried about her

    (Bette sighs) Yes. We have a really good relationship but I think she probably turns to you more than me sometimes, and I think she’s a bit lost not being able to do that right now

    Tina nods.

    (Tina) Well, I know I’m not exactly what she has in mind, but is it still ok if I take her out on Saturday?

    (Bette smiles) Yes, of course. She’ll love it

    (Tina) I was thinking I’ll ask Kit to come with us, at least for the first time

    (Bette nods) OK, whatever you’re comfortable with

    (Tina) Did you end up getting onto her?

    1. Okay… I am not quite understanding who the current Tina is. Evidently she is the head of an entertainment buisness… and really well to do? And perhaps the problem in the current life has something do with her job maybe? So why is Kit glad to see them together but so blown out of the water that they are affectionate with each other? And Angie believes heart and soul that they hate each other? So now she is going to try to establish a relationship with Angie…. and Angie’s response seems strange as well. She is close to Tina yet with the current situation she is avoiding her? I would have expected that she would have driven Bette crazy with questions once she found out Tina was stuck in 2002.
