    (Bette) Can we sit down for a minute though, before we join them? Tina looks at her. (Tina) Yes, of course She frowns. (Tina) Was there something you wanted to talk about? Bette smiles at her and shakes her head slowly. (Bette) No Tina laughs and takes her hand, leading them to one of the

    Tina looks at her.

    (Tina) Yes, of course

    She frowns.

    (Tina) Was there something you wanted to talk about?

    Bette smiles at her and shakes her head slowly.

    (Bette) No

    Tina laughs and takes her hand, leading them to one of the couches. They settle on the couch together and Tina smiles as she runs her hand gently through Bette’s hair.

    (Tina) You missed me baby?

    (Bette smiles) I did

    Bette takes her hand and they look at each other for a long moment. Tina glances around the room and then smiles as she focuses back on Bette.

    (Tina) Am I allowed to kiss you here?

    (Bette) I think Alice would have a heart attack

    (Tina smiles) Yeah but it’s kind of fun seeing how far we can push this whole her not involving herself thing

    (Bette smiles) It is fun

    Tina smiles at her.

    (Tina) Is that a yes then?

    Bette smiles at her as she leans towards her, bringing her hand to the side of Tina’s face as their lips meet. As they both lose themselves in the moment Tina places her hand on Bette’s knee and starts to slowly drag her fingers up Bette’s inner thigh. Bette smiles and speaks to her through the kiss.

    (Bette) Tee

    Tina drifts under her skirt and Bette laughs and diverts her hand.

    (Bette) Tee!

    (Tina laughs) Sorry baby

    Bette smiles and shakes her head.

    (Bette) Remember that line everyone keeps talking about?

    Tina bites her lip and smiles.

    (Tina) I know

    Bette raises her eyebrows and looks around the crowded room.

    (Bette) We’re also…

    Tina holds up her hands.

    (Tina) I know, I know, all the things

    They smile at each other and Tina shrugs.

    (Tina) I get carried away

    (Bette smiles) Mmmm

    Bette leans towards her and moves her hand over Tina’s hip.

    (Bette) Keep those hands where I can see them Kennard

    Tina smiles as she again raises her hands and Bette moves towards her and brings their lips together again. Tina brings her hands to the side of Bette’s face and leans back into the couch, and Bette leans her body further into her.


    Meanwhile, a taxi pulls over out the front of the building and Kit steps out. She says her thanks to the driver and then makes her way inside. She glances around the crowded room and then stops in her tracks as her eyes land on Bette and Tina, who remain completely lost in each other as their passionate embrace continues. Kit stands completely still with her mouth open as she stares in shock.

    1. Okay… I am not quite understanding who the current Tina is. Evidently she is the head of an entertainment buisness… and really well to do? And perhaps the problem in the current life has something do with her job maybe? So why is Kit glad to see them together but so blown out of the water that they are affectionate with each other? And Angie believes heart and soul that they hate each other? So now she is going to try to establish a relationship with Angie…. and Angie’s response seems strange as well. She is close to Tina yet with the current situation she is avoiding her? I would have expected that she would have driven Bette crazy with questions once she found out Tina was stuck in 2002.
