    They smile at each other and Bette shakes her head.

    (Alice) You didn’t have a therapy session today?

    Tina shakes her head.

    (Tina) No, next one is in the morning

     

    Later, Bette makes her way to the bar to buy a round and is standing waiting to be served when Shane appears alongside her.

    (Shane) Hey

    (Bette smiles) Hey

    (Shane) I thought I’d give you a hand carrying the drinks

    (Bette smiles) Right

    They share a look and Shane smiles and shrugs.

    (Shane) And to check if you’re OK

    Bette smiles.

    (Bette) I’m OK, thank you

    Shane nods and Bette looks at her and shrugs.

    (Bette) It was actually kind of amazing, hearing her perspective

    (Shane) She had some interesting things to say?

    Bette looks towards Tina at the table, watching her for a moment as Tina laughs and shakes her head at something Alice has said. Bette smiles as she watches her, before turning her attention back to Shane.

    (Bette) She wants me to win her back

    Shane raises her eyebrows and looks at Bette for a moment.

    (Shane) And what are you thinking? Is that something you want to try for?

    Bette looks at her for a moment and then sighs as she shifts her gaze down to the bar.

    (Bette) It’s complicated

    Shane nods and frowns.

    (Shane) Yeah

    Bette looks back at her.

    (Bette) We don’t know when she’ll be back, what she’ll remember from all this, what she won’t

    Shane raises her eyebrows and nods.

    (Shane) Yeah

    (Bette) And even if she does remember, what she’ll even make of it all

    Shane nods again.

    (Shane) Yeah, true

    (Bette sighs) There’s just so much to talk about

    Shane continues to nod, and then looks away and has a sip of beer. She frowns and turns back to Bette.

    (Shane) So, you’re going to try and win her back then?

    Bette looks at her for a moment and then smiles.

    (Bette) Yes

    Shane smiles broadly and they share an affectionate look. Shane looks away and has a sip of beer, still smiling, and Bette keeps her eyes on her. Shane eventually looks over at her and laughs.

    1. Damn-it, I had a feeling it would be just as shockingly quick as the first time. Let’s see how Bette tries to navigate this one. Hopefully Tina is not as hateful towards her because Bette will not be able to be the same. Post soon.

    3. I was eating dinner. Then stopped coz i saw an update. Now i can’t finish dinner, im hung up on this one. What will Bette do? What will Tina do?? Sigh. This dramarama is sooo good. Thanks, K! PPS

    4. Well… I think that Bette is going to try to win her back…. may take a little work, but the Tina we have seen for the last few weeks is a part of the Tina who is back. Bette just has to put Tina in a position where she sees it and feels it. The desire to reconcile… Bette just needs to do her part and win her back.
