    (Shane) What? Bette continues smiling at her and leans her head to one side as she watches her. (Shane) Can I help it if that makes me really fucking happy to hear that? They smile at each other for another moment before Bette gives her an affectionate nudge with her elbow and they both turn

    Bette continues smiling at her and leans her head to one side as she watches her.

    (Shane) Can I help it if that makes me really fucking happy to hear that?

    They smile at each other for another moment before Bette gives her an affectionate nudge with her elbow and they both turn their attention back to the bar. They stand alongside one another in silence for a while as they wait to be served. Bette eventually turns to her.

    (Bette) I really want her to remember

    Shane looks at her for a moment and then nods as she places her hand on Bette’s shoulder.

     

    Later in the evening, Bette and Tina have made their way to the dance floor and are holding each other close as they move together slowly to the music.

    (Tina) So, Angie’s with Kit for the night?

    Bette leans back and meets her eyes.

    (Bette) She is

    Tina nods and Bette smiles at her.

    (Bette) You’re angling to stay?

    Tina shrugs and smiles at her.

    (Tina) I have before, and we behaved ourselves. Even shared a bed

    (Bette smiles) Yes, but I think we’ve pushed the boundaries a fair bit since then

    Tina smiles and runs her fingers through Bette’s hair.

    (Tina) You think we’d slip up?

    Bette wraps her arms around her waist, drawing her in closer and speaking into her neck.

    (Bette) If we go home together there is absolutely no way I’ll be keeping my hands off of you

    Tina smiles as she leans her head back, enjoying the feel of Bette’s kisses on her neck and her breath against her throat.

    (Tina) Mmmm, I’m not quite sure what to do with that information

    They are interrupted as Alice approaches them, clearing her throat loudly to draw their attention.

    (Alice) Hey you two. Sorry to interrupt but I’m out, I have an early meeting. Do you still want a lift TK?

    Tina and Bette share a look and Tina then turns back to Alice.

    (Tina) Thanks Al, just give me a minute, I’ll meet you out the front

    Alice nods.

    (Alice) OK, night Bette

    (Bette) Goodnight

    Alice moves away and they turn back to one another, pulling each other close again.

    (Bette) Very responsible of you

    1. Damn-it, I had a feeling it would be just as shockingly quick as the first time. Let’s see how Bette tries to navigate this one. Hopefully Tina is not as hateful towards her because Bette will not be able to be the same. Post soon.

    3. I was eating dinner. Then stopped coz i saw an update. Now i can’t finish dinner, im hung up on this one. What will Bette do? What will Tina do?? Sigh. This dramarama is sooo good. Thanks, K! PPS

    4. Well… I think that Bette is going to try to win her back…. may take a little work, but the Tina we have seen for the last few weeks is a part of the Tina who is back. Bette just has to put Tina in a position where she sees it and feels it. The desire to reconcile… Bette just needs to do her part and win her back.
