    Chapter 19

Tina hits her arm affectionately and they smile at each other.

(Tina) But I think in a way this whole experience has probably been stranger for you lot than it was for me

Tina shrugs and they look at each other for a moment.

    (Alice sighs) Maybe you’re right

They both have a sip of wine.

(Alice) And how’s everything with Angie? You’ve seen her by now?

    Tina smiles.

(Tina) Yes, I’ve had her the last couple of nights

    Alice nods.

(Alice) And how’s she taking it all?

(Tina) Well, she actually hasn’t really wanted to talk about it much yet. She just wants to spend a lot of time together. It’s a lot for her, the whole thing

    (Alice nods) Yeah

(Alice) And Bette? You’ve spoken to her?

    Tina looks at her.

(Tina) Ah, briefly I guess, not really. I’ll have Angie a bit more than usual for the next little while and then it’s back to the usual routine. There’s not much to discuss really

Alice looks at her as Tina has a sip of her wine.

(Alice) You know, you’ve spent a lot of time together recently

Tina looks back at her and nods.

(Tina) Yes, Angie mentioned that too

    Alice nods.

(Tina) I don’t know what that involved but I don’t really feel the need to talk to Bette about it

    Tina shrugs.

(Tina) It wasn’t really me Al

    Alice looks to her drink.

(Alice) Well, she was really great you know, with everything

Alice raises her eyes and meets Tina’s.

(Alice) You were pretty overwhelmed by it all at times. It helped you, spending time with her

Tina frowns and has a sip of wine.

(Alice) And she did that despite all the animosity between you

(Tina) Are you saying I should thank her?

(Alice) Maybe. Or at least talk to her

Alice shrugs and Tina watches her for another moment.

Later in the week, Alice, Shane and Bette are at the Planet having a drink.

(Shane) Work’s as busy this week?

(Bette) It is, but Angie’s spent a lot of the week with Tina so I’ve had time to catch up on things

Shane nods and Alice looks at her for a moment.

    (Alice) And speaking of Tina

    1. My recommendation is to call Tina’s assistant and schedule a 2 hour appointment around lunch time and bring lunch. Have the assistant put a fake name on the calendar and have the assistant hold all calls and no interruptions unless its life or death. Then just talk to her. Tell her what the past few weeks have been like. Win her back… bring her flowers,

Bette needs to turn on the charm… do what she can. If that does not work, then Alice and Shane can just kidnap her and hold her hostage until she talks to Bette.

That part of Tina is still in Tina. She has just buried it and with the right circumstances it can be revived.

      Great story… thank you.

    2. Great two chapters!

Why is it that Bette has to do all the work? Sure, Tina claims not to remember the last weeks but still wasn’t she the one that cried a lot and wanted to change her relationship according to Alice, before Tina thought she lived in 2002?

I find Tina to be rather cold to Bette. They need to sit together, alone and just talk. Hope Alice and Shane come up with a good plan and doesn’t make it worse.
