    They all look at her and Tina looks back at them and sighs, placing her coffee back on the counter. (Tina) Guys, why are you all being so weird? (Alice) I think we should wait for Bette to get here (Tina) Oh good, Bette’s coming? (Alice) Yeah, she’ll be here in a minute. Let’s just

    They all look at her and Tina looks back at them and sighs, placing her coffee back on the counter.

    (Tina) Guys, why are you all being so weird?

    (Alice) I think we should wait for Bette to get here

    (Tina) Oh good, Bette’s coming?

    (Alice) Yeah, she’ll be here in a minute. Let’s just try to relax until then

    Tina again looks at them all suspiciously.

    (Tina) You know, you all look a bit different today

    Alice mutters under her breath.

    (Alice) Fifteen years fucking different

    Shane elbows Alice.

    (Shane) Different how?

    (Tina sighs) I don’t know, did we have a really big night last night?

    There is a knock on the door and Alice goes to answer it.

    Bette and Alice walk through to the kitchen and Tina sees Bette and immediately moves towards her, throwing her arms around her.

    (Tina) We still need to talk about earlier, but I’m so glad you’re here

    Bette looks at Alice with widened eyes as she lightly places her hands on Tina’s back. Tina leans back and looks at her.

    (Tina) Please tell me your mood has improved, I don’t think I can handle you being like that again

    Bette looks back at her and Alice clears her throat.

    (Alice) Why don’t we give you two a minute. Head to the couch, we’ll make ourselves scarce

    She looks to Dana and Shane and they all move to the hallway.

     

    Tina and Bette walk to the lounge and sit down next to one another. Tina sits with her legs folded under her and Bette perches on the edge of the couch.

    (Bette) Are you feeling OK?

    (Tina smiles) I’m fine baby, why does everyone keep asking me that?

    Bette frowns and continues to look at her with concern.

    (Tina) I’m worried about Alice though, she’s being really weird today. Weirder than usual even

    (Bette) OK

    (Tina) She asked me what year it is

    Tina smiles and shakes her head and Bette takes a breath and watches her.

    (Bette) And what year do you think it is?

    Tina smiles and slaps Bette’s leg affectionately.

    (Tina) Don’t you start baby, it’s 2002

    Bette attempts a reassuring smile.

    (Bette) OK, I’m going to talk to Alice for a second

    2. Omg…. fifteen years! That is a huge amount of time to lose overnight. And to think this was the time that Tina was the happiest in her life. And now its going to all come crashing down when she is returned to reality. Maybe this will turn on a light for Bette and for Tina and show them that they do need each other in their lives. This is an interesting story arch…. cannot wait to see how this goes.

    4. It’s so sad Tina lost 15 years and she took it really good so far as Bette told her they are no longer together and have a daughter together.

      Maybe this is indeed a chance for both of them to look back and talk what went wrong in those 15 years and hopefully find each other back. It pained my heart that especially Bette was so cold as ice to Tina in the first chapter. I really want to know what happened.

      Waiting patiently for the next chapter!

    5. I just read chapter 2 while I’m out and honestly I love this fic and it’s very clear Bette and Tina are still in love. And I missed hearing the baby this is too cute I can’t wait for them to get together. And I really can’t wait to read all of your fics for some reason they aren’t loading for me possibly bad internet but thankfully I can read this one you’re an incredible author love how you write them I’m so drawn in thank you
