    Tina opens the front door to Alice standing there smiling. She looks past her to see Bette, standing by the car shaking her head and looking furious.

    (Tina frowns) Al, what’s Bette doing here?

    (Alice smiles) She’s my plus one

    Tina looks at her uncertainly.

    (Tina) Um, Al I don’t know about this

    (Alice) You think too much Kennard, move aside, we’re coming in

    Alice turns and yells out to Bette.

    (Alice) She said it’s fine Bette, hurry the fuck up

    Bette shakes her head again and continues standing by the car. Tina takes a breath and moves towards her, giving Alice a stern look on her way past.

    Tina makes her way over to the car, slowing her pace as she approaches Bette.

    (Tina) Hi

    (Bette) Hi

    They look at each other uncertainly.

    (Bette) I was brought here under false pretences. Alice is crazy

    Tina smiles and nods.

    (Tina) Yes

    (Bette) She also stole my phone

    (Tina smiles) Right

    Tina looks towards the house and then back to Bette.

    (Tina) Well, are you coming in?

    (Bette frowns) Really?

    (Tina) Yes, it’s fine. Everyone’s inside, and you can’t just stay out here. It’ll be fine, won’t it?

    Bette examines her.

    (Bette) Yes, I think so

    (Tina) Great, well come on in

    They walk together back to the front door, Bette watching Tina closely from the corner of her eye.


    They all settle in at the courtyard table, enjoying their meal and then relaxing over a bottle of wine. The group all chat away to each other, though Bette and Tina have not directly spoken throughout the night.

    Dana has a sip of wine and turns to Alice.

    (Dana) I’m surprised this is what we ended up doing tonight, I thought you’d be pushing for us to continue spending our Saturday nights at clubs now

    Alice sighs.

    (Alice) Yes well I’ve lost my partner in crime unfortunately

    She points to Tina.

    (Alice) This one aged fifteen years overnight so we’re back to civilized dinner parties

    Tina smiles and shakes her head as she tops up everyone’s wine. Helena smiles her thanks when she reaches her.

    1. Ahhh a new update and I’m out at the moment so can’t completely read it but Tina remembers and she knew Bette would know ahh they read each other so perfectly soulmates but they are truly the sweetest ahh I can’t wait for more every time I see there’s an update I feel so much happiness

    2. All right! Tina remembers… that is a start for these two. Cannot wait for this conversation…. And congratulations to Shane and Alice for a successful venture in getting these two together with all the gang.

      Time to take some big steps now Bette and Tina… time to put away the past and work toward the future….
