Bette and Tina were down for their nap at 12:30 and slept until 2:00. They then awakened, showered, put on their make-up and dressed for the wedding. Tina wore a medium blue dress suit with a jacket and black sling-back heals which had medium heel height.  She also wore the blue sapphire and diamond necklace that Bette had given her in celebration of Angie’s eighteenth birthday. Tina looked elegant but conversative. She did not want to detract the attention away from the brides.

Bette wore a burgundy dress with a jagged boat neck, three quarter sleeves and straight-line shirt which went to just below her knees. She wore some black 4-inch heels. And Tina insisted that she wear her onyx and diamond necklace with a tennis bracelet and matching earrings.  Tina loved Bette’s look. She looked stately with her very upright posture and the color was rich and elegant on Bette. Tina thought that they were both ready for the wedding. They exchanged kisses and took the elevator down. The family was in the family room.

Bette:  Okay family. We are on our way.  You guys need to start getting ready. Be at the Gallery at 5:00 and make sure you have your cells with you. Put them on vibrate and put them in your pockets if you have pockets. If we need anything, we will be calling you for assistance. We will see you at the wedding.

Mary: You girls look beautiful. Give Paris and Jeanette our love. And you two drive safely.

Tina: We will. See you guys later.

Bette and Tina got in their separate cars and headed for their separate destinations.

Tina arrived at Paris and Jeanette’s home in Silver Lakes at 3:30. One of Jeanette’s teacher friends let Tina in and took her to where Jeanette was having her hair done.

Jeanette:  Oh, Tina, you’re here. Come give me a hug. I’m running a little late. Paris only left about 30 minutes ago.  She’s nervous and she’s making me nervous.

Tina:  Jeanette, relax.  You have plenty of time to get ready. Your hair looks gorgeous. I love those long curls.

Jeanette:  Well, the plan is to put it up in messy bun. That is the way Paris likes it best.
