    Chapter 26 – A Day to Review

Tina: Well, take your time. You guys have plenty of time to get to your tee time.

Angie: So, what are you guys up to today?

Bette:  We are going to check on the studio and see how that project is coming along. We may go to the Gallery and look at all the art work we sent from New York and see if there are any pieces we specifically want to keep and what is going to be sold.

Tina:  We need to check with the attorneys to see if everything is ready for our closing tomorrow. And we need to go over all our list and see what we need to do for the rest of this week and next to get all of our objectives met. We have very little time if we have let something fall through the cracks.

Angie: I’m going to review my list again this afternoon as well. Mary will be here tomorrow and I want to spend some time with her when I can. Then there is the party on Friday and we will be leaving on Sunday. Not much time. I assume everyone will be here on Saturday for the day?

Bette:  That is the plan. Maybe I need to order some lunch from that deli again for lunch?

Tina:  Yes, we can cook breakfast. Maybe we will use that big grill one more time. We are going to have almost 20 people.

Bette:  Sonny and Shane will be glad to do grill duty.

Tina:  I’ll think about the menu to make things simple. I’ll get some help with the fruit and toast.

Angie:  You had me order a lot of eggs, bread and bacon as well as fruit and coffee.

Tina: Yes, well scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns and toast is about as simple as you can get. I might see if I can get a shipment of grits.  I do not think there will be a lot of takers, but I would like to have some anyway. It may be the last time you have an opportunity for grits for a while Angie.

Angie:  Why don’t you just make them for Sunday breakfast? You don’t want lot of food that you can’t save.
