    (Bette) You’ll be staying with Angelica? (Tina) Well, this weekend yes. She’s away from Monday, she has a camp organised Bette nods and Tina checks the time on her cell. She holds up her cup. (Tina) Well, I might finish this upstairs, and then head to bed (Bette smiles) It’s been a day for you

    (Bette) You’ll be staying with Angelica?

    Bette nods and Tina checks the time on her cell. She holds up her cup.

    (Tina) Well, I might finish this upstairs, and then head to bed

    (Bette smiles) It’s been a day for you too

    Tina raises her eyebrows and smiles.

    (Tina) I guess the spare room would be set up, it always used to be

    Bette shrugs.

    (Bette) Your guess is as good as mine. Let me know if you need help finding anything though, we can search together

    Tina smiles at her.

    (Bette) Actually, before you go

    Bette reaches for her phone on the coffee table.

    (Bette) Could you show me how to make a phone call?

    Tina smiles as she takes the phone from her, navigating to the contacts and handing it back to her. Bette studies the screen and Tina smiles at her.

    (Tina) Goodnight Bette

    Bette looks up at her and smiles.

    (Bette) Goodnight Tee

    They look at each other for a moment before Tina rises and makes her way to the stairs. Bette watches her go and then turns her attention back to the phone. Once she hears the spare room door close upstairs she places a call.

    (Kit) Bette, oh my God baby girl it’s so good to hear from you, how are you feeling?

    Bette takes a moment and clears her throat.

    (Bette) I’m fine Kit

    (Kit) Shane told me about what’s going on, 2002 huh?

    (Bette) Yes, 2002

    Kit raises her eyebrows and sighs.

    (Kit) Well, I can’t imagine how this feels for you. And I remember all too well where we were at then. I know it must be strange for you, but things are very different between us now

    (Bette) Yes, Tina mentioned that

    Bette rubs her forehead.

    (Bette) I’m happy for you Kit, I truly am. But you’re going to have to give me some time to adjust here

    (Kit nods) No problem, whatever you need

    Bette nods.

    (Bette) Tina also mentioned you’re coming home?

    (Kit) Yes, I’ll be back this weekend

    (Bette) Are you coming back for me? Or were you due back anyway?

    1. Hummm…. so the confusion has begun…. Bette has a child whom she does not know, a sister whose relationship has made a 180 degree turn in 15 years and all she can think about is Tina. And she is already scheming to keep Tina around. Let see where this goes….

    5. Hey ! Thanks a lot for sharing this new chapter. I’m really looking forward to next chapter. Well, I still think what Bette is doing here is highly unfair to Tina and her current life and relationship ( I mean, let’s be honest, that looks a lot like a trap she wants her to fall in ), especially since Bette obviously loves her very much, so that still troubles be a little, but I definitely want to see where this is going. Thanks a lot !!
