Chapter 4 – The Doctor Visit

Tina:  There is a luggage store not too far from here. Let me give them a call and see if they have some to look at.

Tina then came back and said that they had a couple in stock, but they had a catalogue with could be ordered and delivered within 10 days or so. Tina then ushered them to the car. They then drove about ten minutes to a shopping center and went to the luggage shop.

Angie looked at the one’s in stock which were a shiny platinum exterior with brown leather straps as accents.

Angie:  We’ll that very California bungalow style. But I want something less flashy and more rustic.

Angie and Tina went to the counter and were shown the catalogue. While they were pursuing, Daniel pointed out to Bette a rolling clothing rack similar to the luggage carts used by hotels. Bette suddenly had an idea. She called the salesman over.

Bette:  Do these racks come apart?

Salesman:  These racks require some assembly before they can be used. Therefore, they can be disassembled to be stored for future use.

Daniel:  It would be easy to transport Angie’s hanging clothes with a couple of these.

Bette:  Yeah, you are right. And if we save the boxes, they can be disassembled and stored under her bed. And then put together when she moves again.

Daniel:  But they are not going to fit in an SUV assembled.

Bette:  We get a truck to move Angie and a couple of strong backs to help us carry all this stuff.  Daniel you are a genius!

Bette:  I need two of these shipped to New York to be delivered next week before Friday of next week.

Salesman:  Well, it would be best if we shipped them directly from our warehouse then. Step over here and let’s fill out the paperwork.

Tina:  I think Angie has made her decision.  I think we need to go ahead and ship them to the New York apartment.

Bette:  Excellent idea.  Miss, would you add the items these ladies selected to my order. They will all be shipped to the same New York address.  And I want guaranteed delivery on Thursday of next week or before.

Salesman:  I think we can have them to this address by 11:00 am on Thursday, July 31st.
