    Tina inhales sharply. (Tina) I see that me cooking is still a thing for you Bette speaks into her neck. (Bette) You doing just about anything is a thing for me Tina smiles, enjoying the feel of Bette’s body against her own, while also trying to continue preparing her meal. (Tina smiles) Bette, I need

    Tina inhales sharply.

    (Tina) I see that me cooking is still a thing for you

    Bette speaks into her neck.

    (Bette) You doing just about anything is a thing for me

    Tina smiles, enjoying the feel of Bette’s body against her own, while also trying to continue preparing her meal.

    (Tina smiles) Bette, I need to concentrate

    Bette continues kissing down her neck and along her shoulder.

    (Bette) So concentrate

    Bette hitches up her skirt and Tina leans back, resting the back of her head on Bette’s shoulder.

    (Tina) You don’t have time for this

    (Bette) I don’t care.

    Tina eventually relents and turns off the stove. She turns to face Bette, who smiles at her as she lifts her up onto the kitchen bench.

     

    The week goes on, and Bette continues to slip into Tina’s bed each night. They generally barely interact with each other, but enjoy a few sleepy greetings and goodbyes. They each wake at different stages of the night and enjoy bringing their bodies closer together, and holding the other while they sleep. They have both enjoyed the moments they’ve managed to share together, and they are each eagerly anticipating being able to spend some quality time together on the coming Sunday.

     

    Sunday morning, Tina’s apartment. Tina rises early and takes a moment to watch Bette sleeping soundly next to her. She slips out easily without waking her and leaves an exhausted Bette to catch up on some sleep. She makes her way out to a favourite local bakery of theirs and picks up some pastries and other supplies.

    She returns home and after unpacking her purchases makes her way back to the bedroom. Bette opens her eyes at the sound of the door and takes in the sight of a refreshed and dressed Tina standing before her.

    (Bette) What time is it?

    (Tina) A little after 9

    (Bette) Tee, why did you let me sleep?

    Tina approaches the bed and smiles.

    (Tina) You needed it after the week you’ve had

    Bette looks at her with a sly grin.

    (Bette) Sleep is not what I need

    She reaches towards her and takes Tina’s hand, pulling her on top of her as they fall back onto the bed.

    5. I am in hopes that there will come a point when they do not have to hide. They can respond to each other naturally regardless of where they are. I want them to go to social events as a couple, to introduce themselves as a couple and to begin to shape a life together… its what they both want. That is indicated by the exchange of keys. Your not out shopping when your current lover could drop in at anytime without notice…. This is a huge step in that the no strings arrangement, now has a very big connection. So these two are into a new set of rules and expectations.

      I love how Bette and Tina always ask before they proceed. Tina granted Bette every night, any night access to her. These two are a couple, an exclusive couple… just not public.

      Excellent story… thank you. Keep writing when you can.
