    (Alice) What’s your event tonight? (Tina) It’s a premiere, our headline film for the summer Alice smiles and nods. (Alice) Of course, I know the one you mean. I’m always trying to score a ticket to these things but they’re so fucking exclusive Tina smiles and raises her eyebrows. (Tina) Yeah, they can be. But

    (Alice) What’s your event tonight?

    (Tina) It’s a premiere, our headline film for the summer

    Alice smiles and nods.

    (Alice) Of course, I know the one you mean. I’m always trying to score a ticket to these things but they’re so fucking exclusive

    Tina smiles and raises her eyebrows.

    (Tina) Yeah, they can be. But I’m surprised you’re not going. I’ve been hearing your name more and more, I thought your work would send you?

    (Alice sighs) Nah, I’m not there yet. Still in that career phase of trying to break through some barriers

    Alice shrugs.

    (Tina) Well, how quickly could you get ready?

    (Alice frowns) What do you mean?

    (Tina) I can bring a plus one, and I’m going alone

    Tina shrugs.

    (Tina) If you wanted to come that’d be fine

    Alice frowns at her for a moment and then smiles broadly.

    (Alice) Are you serious?

    Tina laughs and nods.

    (Tina) Yeah, a car’s coming to collect me here in an hour. If you can be ready by then, come along. Might be fun to run into some of your colleagues?

    Alice laughs.

    (Alice) Ah, yes

    She looks at Tina for a moment.

    (Alice) Thank you

    Tina smiles at her.

    (Tina) It’s fine, it’ll be fun. We should probably get a move on though

    Alice nods and pulls herself up out of the water.

    (Alice) Well, I might need to run home, but I’ll be quick. Porter’s too fucking tall, I look ridiculous in her clothes

    Tina smiles.

    (Tina) Well I’ve got a few things here, come and see what we can find

    Alice looks over at her and raises her eyebrows.

    (Alice) Ah, OK, sure

    Alice continues inside and raises an eyebrow at Bette on the way past. Tina steps out of the pool and Bette rises from the sunlounger and holds a towel out to her, wrapping it around her as Tina steps towards her. Tina turns to face her and they smile at each other as Bette continues to hold her.

    (Tina) Is this OK? Sorry I can get ahead of myself sometimes, I should have checked with you

    Bette smiles as she pulls her closer. She looks to Alice in the kitchen and smiles as she watches her excitedly telling Shane and Dana about the plan.

    1. It’s a great story and i love the development of it.

      It’s casual and both are fine with it, i do wonder when one of them is going to expect more. Because let’s be honest it already seems like a real relationship to me.

      Looking forward for the next chapter!

    4. Okay… so this is a relationship which is not a relationship??? Well, I guess that works great… at least for now. So there are no ties and exclusivity… no long term planning depending on how you determine what long term is. And most of all no commitment. Just do what feels right for the moment… okay… And I guess if there is ever a conflict, well, just deal with it in moment on an individual basis. Sharing of one’s life is not required, purely voluntary. Input or advice from one another is not require… as there is no relationship. And as long as you both play within the boundaries, life is good. Okay… So why the jealousy from Miss Tina in the prior chapter??? Me thinks that the desire for a commitment is not that far away from either of them.
