    (Bette) Yes, it’s totally OK She looks back to Tina and gestures with her head towards Alice. (Bette) You’ve made a friend for life, she’s never going to stop talking about this Tina smiles. (Tina) Well I hope it lives up to her expectations, these things can be more boring than people imagine (Bette smiles)

    She looks back to Tina and gestures with her head towards Alice.

    Tina smiles.

    (Tina) Well I hope it lives up to her expectations, these things can be more boring than people imagine

    (Bette smiles) She’ll love it

    They smile at each other and Tina lifts her chin towards her, inviting Bette to kiss her. Bette smiles as she moves her arms further around Tina’s back, leaning down and capturing her lips with her own. They draw back and smile at each other.

    (Tina) I better go get ready

    (Bette nods) OK


    A while later, Alice comes down the stairs and calls out to the others in the kitchen.

    (Alice) The car’s here. I’m heading out now, Tina will be down in a minute

    Shane and Dana yell out their goodbyes and Bette makes her way to the front door.

    (Bette smiles) Looking good Al

    Alice looks over at her as she looks through her bag by the front door.

    (Alice) Nice of you to say, though I’m sure you preferred it on Tina

    Bette smiles as she opens the front door for her. Alice goes to walk through and pauses and raises an eyebrow.

    (Alice) She has more than a few things here Porter

    Bette narrows her eyes.

    (Bette) I could get this invite rescinded you know

    Alice smiles.

    (Alice) Say no more

    Alice waves over her shoulder as she walks out the door and down the driveway. Bette calls out to her as she goes.

    (Bette) Can you please behave yourself?

    Alice waves her hand again without turning to her.

    (Alice) Yeah yeah, no problem

    Bette turns to see Tina coming down the stairs. She stops and watches her as she approaches, Tina smiling at her as she puts in an earring and enjoys the feeling of Bette’s eyes travelling down her body. She reaches the bottom of the stairs and steps towards her and Bette places her hands on Tina’s hips and takes a breath.

    (Bette) God you look amazing

    Tina smiles as Bette draws her in close, moving her arms around her back and kissing her neck.

    (Tina) Mmmm, can I come back afterwards?

    1. It’s a great story and i love the development of it.

      It’s casual and both are fine with it, i do wonder when one of them is going to expect more. Because let’s be honest it already seems like a real relationship to me.

      Looking forward for the next chapter!

    4. Okay… so this is a relationship which is not a relationship??? Well, I guess that works great… at least for now. So there are no ties and exclusivity… no long term planning depending on how you determine what long term is. And most of all no commitment. Just do what feels right for the moment… okay… And I guess if there is ever a conflict, well, just deal with it in moment on an individual basis. Sharing of one’s life is not required, purely voluntary. Input or advice from one another is not require… as there is no relationship. And as long as you both play within the boundaries, life is good. Okay… So why the jealousy from Miss Tina in the prior chapter??? Me thinks that the desire for a commitment is not that far away from either of them.

    5. Not a relationship? Could have fooled me but hey whatever it is it’s working. One of them us going to want more….will that be the end? We shall see. Please don’t make us wait long for new chapters. Thanks
