“My how could I have forgotten that? Of course, the biggest event of the summer is Angie’s birthday isn’t it?”

“And Auntie Alice’s birthday. We always have our birthdays together and we smash cake in each other’s faces.”

“You smash cake in your faces?” Just the thought of how messy that would be didn’t sound like fun to Jang Yin.

“Yeah. It’s fun right Momma? Momma smashed cake in Mommy’s face at the wedding and then she licked it and kissed her. Do you remember that Grandma?”

“I do. I remember your Mommy turned very red in the face. I don’t suppose you’re going to share what Bette whispered to you.”

Tina turns red just recalling the day, and everyone is laughing. Bette winks at Tina and gives her one of those looks.

“No Peggy. I’m taking that little piece of information to my grave.”

“I wanted to suggest that you use the Peabody beach house for the birthday party. We can combine indoor and outdoor activities if you like. The house is huge and fully staffed. We have several extra bedrooms if you need accommodations for anyone. We have the game room. The house is right on the beach and we also have the pool. We have the basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts set up if anyone wants to do sports. We have inflatable water toys for both kids and adults. I know Alice will love the Floating Bar it comes with an ice chest, cup holders and four lounge chairs. It’s really quite nice for the occasion.”

“The house is really great Angie. We have so much fun when we come here for the summer. There is so much to do. Grandma can Angie come visit us at the house so I can show her my room?” Jang Yin asked once again surprising Peggy with her forthrightness.

“I’m sure we can arrange something before we go back to New York.” Peggy answered looking at Bette and Tina for concurrence.

“Of course, we can. We should probably see the place and talk to the staff so Tina and I can start planning. Thank you for offering Peggy.”
