Dan Foxworthy Counseling Session (Season 5 Episode 9 Post Elevator)

Bette was hanging on every word, her mouth hanging slightly open at the revelation of how her making love to Tina actually made her feel.  They had never just talked about it openly before and it was music to her ears, a sweet long-awaited revelation.  “Believer, me I wanted it, too.  I love being with you, Tina, every single moment.  You always feel so good and smell so good – your presence is so, so… intoxicating to me and I really can’t get enough of you.  I feel absolutely invincible when we make love.  Knowing that you want me is all I really ever wanted,” Bette smiled while looking deeply into Tina’s pretty hazel eyes.

Suddenly a thought occurred to Bette, “Dan you haven’t said anything to us about Jodi.  Not a word.  That’s the very reason I scheduled the session with you.  Does it not bother you that Tina and I have been fooling around behind Jodi’s back?  I mean it’s wrong, right?  What do I do about Jodi?”

“You are both adults, Bette,” Dan retorted.  “It is clear that your feelings for Tina far outweigh whatever you may have had with Jodi.  You have barely even mentioned her in this session.  I am not going to tell you what to do, but it is always better to come clean in situations like this, and the sooner the better.  The fact is Jodi will be hurt regardless of how everything shakes out.  You are smart enough to do what is right, but I can’t tell you when or how to go about it,” Dan said.

“You mean you really think Bette and I should be together?” Tina asked.

“Actions speak louder than words, Tina.  What have your actions of late been telling you?”  Again, Dan knew the answer to his own question, and he was helping his clients discover the answer for themselves.  Dan looked down at his watch, and then back up.  “We are out of time, ladies.  Call me if you need to set up another session.”

    ***********

Bette and Tina stepped out of Dan’s office into the foyer, both feeling the weight of what had just happened in the session.  Tina absentmindedly pushed the elevator down button and then looked at Bette.  Bette returned the glance and they both said, “Nuh uh,” at the same time, heading instead for the stairwell.  Neither one of them wanted to be stuck in the elevator again, though they made quite good use of their time just an hour ago.  The thought of their activities brought a smirk to both of their faces.  Anyway, it was only the seventh floor so the descent wouldn’t be that bad actually.  Bette opened the door and began walking down the stairs.  When she reached the first landing in between floors she was surprised by a slight pressure on the small of her back, and before she knew what was happening she felt herself being pushed against the wall.

    1. hmmmmm so is there a filler to be written for Season 2 epi 7, Tina decided to get the hell out of Dodge after listening to Helena & her ex arguing and go to the Planet for a celebration.

Funny that Tina was definitely looking to see if Bette was there. After seeing that was a crowd of horndogs surrounding Bette it took encouragement from Kit to convince Tina talk go and talk to Bette.

After getting past initial formalities, I noticed that Tina held a strong gaze while looking at a shocked/nervous (slightly embarrassed???) Bette.

      wondered what dialog resulted

    2. You really made a terrific filler here, I love it a lot !
Expressing their feelings and emotions was always our beloved two’s biggest weakness and it’s so great to hear them truly talk to each other. And thanks to you, this stairway will remain as hot as the elevator ;-)
Thank you so much for this delightful and lovely filler, Christina !
