Dan continued to sit, watch and listen.

Now it was Bette’s turn to talk.  “Remember when I told you I was coming to see Dan by myself, when you were still seeing Helena…”

“Ugh, don’t remind me,” Tina interrupted, rolling her eyes at the memory of her dalliance with Helena Peabody.

“…he asked me how it felt having sex with you, when you were pregnant.  And I told him it was fucking amazing, just amazing.  And also shocking and sad, because you were so confident and sure of yourself – it just meant you didn’t belong to me any more.  You didn’t need me the way you used to.”  Bette paused.  “I just want to say that – well – I like this new, more confident you.  You’re still Tina, but more assertive, playful and fun.  I don’t have to treat you like this delicate flower when we make love any more.  It’s pretty great, actually.”

“I never knew you felt that way, Bette.”  Tina smiled, “I admit I like taking control in the bedroom lately.  I see how it turns you on.”  Bette blushed suddenly at the remembrance of their recent encounter that began in the kitchen.  Burnt the damn stir-fry.

“How does that feel, Tina?  Elaborate a little bit on what having sex with Bette feels like,” said Dan.  “I think Bette needs to know.”

“Really?” asked Tina with innocent hazel eyes.  She looked over at Bette and saw the hopeful look on her face.  She let out a slight chuckle and then began,” Um, ok.  It is the best feeling in the world, actually.  Bette touching me, kissing me, holding me and… you know…  It feels like I am the sexiest woman on the planet and I can do anything because I am with her.  Sometimes I even forget my own name.  It’s like the very first time she kissed me at her gallery dinner. I couldn’t think straight and I felt this tingling, warm sensation all over my body.”  Tina realized that talking about this was starting to get her aroused, that same tingling feeling starting to make its way to her center.  “And then when you came to the set the other day, all I could think about was getting a moment alone with you.  I wanted to kiss you so badly.”
