    Family Sunday

Tina put the pillow between her legs and squeezed. Trying to get some sort of relief. She needed Bette’s mouth on her right now.

    “Ugh,” Tina moaned.

She shook the images of Bette fucking her out of her mind and thought about everything that happened at the Artist Dinner before she ran out. It was almost a perfect evening.

Bette commanded the room in her black pant suit. She was elegant. That hadn’t changed. She was powerful. That hadn’t changed. She was regarded. That hadn’t changed. She was every bit of Bette Fucking Porter. Tina loved it when Bette wore her hair down. She got butterflies when she saw Bette and even more butterflies when Bette smiled at her. That smile. She missed Bette smiling at her. She missed feeling like they were the only people around when they looked at each other. She missed Bette’s attention. She missed Bette’s affection. She missed Bette.

Tina smiled because she had some of Bette’s attention last night. Bette openly flirted with her and she openly flirted back. It was nice. Reminiscent of the way things used to be. Maybe it was the start of their journey back to each other.

    Tina sighed.

Or maybe not. Tina nearly fell off her chair when Bette asked KiKi about her inspiration for Forgiveness

    Shit.

Tina knew she was going to have to tell Bette about how she knew KiKi along with everything else. She put the pillow over her head and screamed. She could only imagine how that conversation was going to go.

Different scenarios ran through her head when she suddenly realized she didn’t have a swimsuit for today.

“What the fuck, Tee,” Alice said sleepily.

    “Hey Al!”

“You okay? You better be fuckin dying calling this early.”

    “I don’t have a swimsuit.”

    “What!”

“A swimsuit. I didn’t bring one with me.”

    “Wardrobe. Get it from Wardrobe.”

“No. I want to go shopping.”

Alice rolled over and opened one eye. She squinted until she saw what time it was.

“Christ. It’s 6:52 in the fucking morning, Tee.”

    “I couldn’t sleep.”

    Alice finally opened both eyes.

    “Ugh. Fine. Thinking about Bette?”

    “Always.”

“How did it go last night? She ran out of the gallery as soon as she saw the card from The Harborview.”

    1. Great chapter!

Bette and AJ and together with Tina, he is so smart and adorable! Very clever from him to let them join him in the pool.

Bette is ready to try to rebuild their relationship and Tina comes with that line, “Things that will most likely break your heart…some more.”. But they have to make a clean start and this is necessary to put everything out and then away to never come back.

I’m sad the end is coming but also looking forward to the next chapter.

      • Thank you so much! I’ll be tackling a GenQ storyline when I’m done with this one. This my first attempt at fanfic and it has been such a privilege writing this story. When it’s all done, I’ll go back and read it from start to finish to see what I could’ve done better.

Bette is ready to rebuild but she’s also nervous. She portrays alpha but we know she’s fragile. So I’m excited to see how Tina navigates her fragility and how Bette hopefully starts to forgive her. But I don’t know. We shall see.

Next chapter is going to be a doozy for sure!

AJ is my absolute favorite. I kinda wish I wrote him as an orphan or something. I love the way Bette and AJ interact.

        • You are a great writer, your writing style is really good, don’t think you have to change anything. I especially love how you write their inner thoughts. The story flows and keeps you wanting more.

I adore AJ, maybe you can add him in your new story. Bette doing something for a orphan house, they meet and Bette and him bond immediately and Bette wants to adopt him, giving him the warm and loving home he deserves. I am adopted and it would be so great to read something like that. But whatever you’re new story will be about, i will certainly read it!
