I’m looking forward to a night on the town. James and I don’t get to do that too often. I definitely want to go to that Latin dance club you guys went to last time. I want to see you two on the dance floor.”

    “That was a lot of fun. I love Latin dancing. We don’t do it often enough. OK let’s go say goodbye to our little angel. She’s probably so engrossed in play that she’s forgotten that we’re still here.”

    Bette and Tina leave Lisa’s and go back to the hotel to relax for a while and dress for the evening. They get to the gallery at about 6:30p so they have time to find the girls and are ready to leave at 7pm when James and Lisa arrive. They invited Monica to join them so she and Kit rode with Bette and Tina while Shane and Alice rode with James and Lisa.

    They finish dinner at around 9:15p and they call Leigh on her cell phone. She tells them that she is back at the hotel. Kit and Monica had decided not to go out after dinner. They are both tired from the long day and Monica has to be rested for the drive home. Bette drives them back to the hotel and picks up Leigh when she drops them off. They head out to Cannery Row and the first stop is the Latin club that Lisa wanted to visit. They dance and have a great time club hopping. They keep the drinking to a minimum since they are driving, plus no one wants to be hung over in the morning. James and Lisa leave them at around midnight so they can relieve the sitter. The girls hang out until about 2am then head back to the hotel.

    Both Leigh and Bette need to return their rental cars in the morning so James arranges to meet them at the rental car place. He will then drive them back to his house for breakfast so they can get Angie and Riley and also talk to the kids about camping.

    2. Once again, love this update. Nice to say how you put the part of Shane from the show into this story. Nice to read some more of Shane. She’s called Yoda but apart from some smart remarks, we hardly get to know something of her. I like this chapter. Keep the chapters coming BAT, thank you, love them.

    3. GM! I didn’t make it last night either! All the long hours are catching up with me! I love it cause I’m Blessed! I have always loved Shane! She’s the type loyal friend I would love to have in my life. If I was a writer I would write a story about her friendship with Bette and Tina. I don’t mean a sexual one either. I’m off for another nap before I go have blood drawn this morning. Thanks and hope to see another update when I get back from having my blood drawn. PPS

    4. You tease! But I think I can fill in the blanks. .. Shane is a very cool lady and a loyal friend. She makes mistakes and i am glad she has the support from B&T and Leigh. She will find her way.
