Shane, Alice and Leigh stretched out in the leather recliners and went to sleep. Bette and Tina sat with Angie as they looked through some of the material that Lisa had provided on the camp. Angie was very excited about going and she wanted Suzie and Jackie to go also. Bette and Tina told her that they would talk to the parents when they got back home.

Angie loved the idea of having her birthday party at the camp site. Since she always celebrated her birthday with her Aunt Alice she had to get Alice to buy-in on the idea too. Alice was too tired to talk about anything that morning, but they had a six hour drive ahead of them so there was plenty of time to discuss it later once everyone was awake.

Monica got them home safely by 5:30pm on Sunday evening. The first stop was Bette, Tina and Shane’s. They dropped Kit off there also since her car was at Bette’s house. Monica said good bye to her new friends and then drove Alice and Leigh to their respective homes.

Alice loved the idea of doing her joint birthday celebration with Angie at the camp site. She was already thinking about ghost stories, pranks and games they could play around the camp fire.

Although they had lodges, she thought it would be fun to sleep in tents. The camp offered both options and they could participate in camp scheduled activities such horseback riding and water sports or they could do their own thing. The camp did have a large dining hall and recreation room where they could have the birthday celebration. It was late in the season and availability was limited so Bette and Tina told Lisa to go ahead and call the camp on Monday to book for all four girls and if the other parents didn’t agree they could cancel within 24 hours without penalty. Lisa would also book the family weekend and reserve the recreation room for their party.

Bette and Tina said goodnight to Kit and thanked her for taking care of Angie. Angie gave her aunt a big hug and kiss and thanked her also. Kit headed home after calling her on duty manager at the Planet to make sure everything was OK which it was. She could relax and take the rest of the evening off. It was still early so Tina made sure Angie had all her work done for school the next day then she started on dinner while Bette went to visit with Shane. They were sitting in Shane’s living room. Bette was drinking water while Shane had a beer.
