Gio rubs his forehead “Well it certainly wasn’t a coincidence that Tina was there along with Jasmin Sinclair at the same club and at the same time now is it?”

Bette scrunches her forehead “What are you saying Gio?..Are you suggesting that somehow Tina and Jasmin are connected in some way?”

“That’s exactly what I am suggesting”

Bette scoffs “You’re delusional.  Tina would never have anything to do with Rocco’s organization.  She despised anything to do with organized crime because of what happened with her brother so I kept silent about my involvement with Rocco out of fear of losing her…Plus I was working with you to get out of that shit life…She would never do that”

Gio sighs and looks at Bette guiltily before he turns to the others to look at them the same

“I’m afraid we have a huge problem on our hands…So was anyone around you listening perhaps when you all so haphazardly talked about going to the club?”

Cyrus looks up at the ceiling and thinks

Alexis shifts in her seat

“Oh fuck!” she grabs her hair with hands “Cyrus we are so stupid”

Cyrus looks at her perplexed “What”

“The red haired woman wearing shades that was at the next vehicle smoking a cigarette..That must have been Jasmine”

“Shit..How was I supposed to know?” Cyrus throws his hands up

Gio rolls his eyes “We will discuss all that later”

Bette sits back down in her chair and throws her head back

“So he gave us an opportunity to meet but I almost didn’t go. Really it was left  up to chance and the dice rolled in his favor..Still doesn’t explain why he needs Tina”

“You still don’t get it do you?”

Bette shakes her head “I guess I don’t”

“You were his diamond in the rough when you were in Rocco’s Mancini family. You betrayed him by working with us…Killing you would be easy for him but there would be no satisfaction. He wants you to suffer and wants to use Tina to do it”

Bette begins to laugh so hard she starts holding her side.  Everyone looks confusingly at her as her laugh starts to subside

“That’s really hysterical. He wants me to suffer..Well news flash…I’ve been suffering for 5 years. He’s already won..But if that’s his plan then it would never work because she hates me..Good luck with that Rocco..Don’t try to fix what isn’t broken you rat bastard”
