“Tina having you there in person would help with marketing strategy for the proposal and that’s your forte not mine” Robin replies hoping Tina can be convinced

“For me to even consider your proposal I will need both of you there..Keep in mind you are the first agency I have approached because I have admired Robin’s work and your marketing strategies Tina..I can very well take my business elsewhere if I’m inconveniencing you on a multi million dollar ad campaign” Alexis concludes folding her arms

Bette held in a smirk as she glances quickly at Tina

Tina straightens up in her chair placing her hands on the table

“Because this opportunity will be good for Trask INC and because Robin is the best at what she does I will go”

Robin let’s out a sigh of relief

“Excellent..Be sure to bring Iris with you..You could make it into a vacation for the two of you”

Bette quickly shoots Alexis a side glare

Tina nods “Of course.  It would be nice to mix some business with pleasure and I suppose Iris and I could turn this into a mini vacation ” she says with a coy smile much to Bette’s annoyance

‘Fuck my life’ Bette thought as Alexis begins to speak

“Excellent”   Alexis nods as Tina pushes her chair back from the table but not before giving Bette a quick glance

“Now I hate to end this conversation but I need to run…I have meetings to prepare for tomorrow….I will let Robin handle the arrangements..Good to see you again”

Tina gets up from her seat grabbing her purse and walks out of the restaurant.  All three women watching her retreating form

Robin coughs nervously before clearing her throat

Alexis looks at Robin “You ok?” she asks

“Yes….There is quite a bit of tension here”

“I can assure you that she and I have an understanding and nothing will interfere with this potential partnership” Bette assured as Alexis agreed

“You must know how important this campaign is to my Father and me.  I trust Bette that her past relationship with Tina will not interfere”

Robin nods not totally convinced but having no choice but to trust the two women sitting in front of her
