    As soon as Bette is out of her sight the woman moves away from the bar and heads outside taking her cellphone out and dialing a number

    “They are both here and they have talked”

    “Excellent” a mans voice says back to her “My plan is working”

    “Not so fast Rocco..Tina isn’t going to be easy and neither is Bette”

    “Don’t ever question me Jasmine.  Tina thinks Bette betrayed her and that will be Bette’s undoing.  She will pay for crossing me. I can’t wait for the fireworks”

    “Rocco I don’t think this is the way to do it.  You know Iris is a loose cannon”

    “I’m not paying you to think Jasmine.  Now you make sure your sister does her job in New York and takes care of Iris.  That daughter of mine is not going to ruin this for me. But I can’t raise suspicion with Tina. So it has to be this way”

    The phone goes silent and Jasmine dials another number

    “Ariana…What’s the status”

    “Well hello to you too my sister”

    “Cut the crap.  Rocco is breathing down my neck. Where are you at with the plan?”

    “Patience”

    “I’m not entirely sure this is going to work.  She could ruin everything but Rocco won’t listen to me”

    “Sister relax.  Our part in this will be over soon enough”

    Jasmine ends the call and sees Tina and Iris getting into a taxi leaving the club

    Inside the Cab

    “Can you tell me why you dragged me out of there”

    Tina fidgets with the strap of her purse

    “Please tell me what’s got you upset” Iris pleads taking Tina’s hand away from the purse strap and threading her fingers around hers

    Tina sighs and turns to Iris

    “I thought I was ready for this” is all Tina manages to say…Her face conflicted

    Iris looks at her confusingly

    “She was there wasn’t she”

    Tina nods

    “For the first time in over 5 years there she was right in front of me”

    Iris sighs

    ”Ok..So are you ready to go through with this”

    Tina nods “Yes. I am”

    Meanwhile back at Club Paradise

    “Let’s go dance now that we got loosened up a bit” Cyrus says standing up.

    Tony and Alexis stand up and Alexis glances at Bette seeing the distraught look on her face.

    3. I LOVE this story! So glad to see it’s back. Looking forward to reading more, and seeing how it all unfolds.

      The scene when Bette says goodbye to Tina in the hospital, just leaves me in tears.

    4. Perhaps, I do not remember correctly… but you have already change the trajectory of this story. In this story, Tina is a part of the Rocco group out to get Bette, where in the previous one, she was simply a pawn being moved around to trap Bette. She is now under the impression that Bette tried to kill her, where before, she simply deserted her in her hour of need.

      This is an interesting beginning…. can’t wait to see where this goes… Thanks for the re-write… looking forward to the continuation of this story…..
