Suddenly the scene goes black..Tina’s eyes spring open and she suddenly gasps
“Hey babe..You ok?” She hears at the same time a hand is placed on her back rubbing it comfortingly
She quickly gains her composure and turns to the person with an assuring smile
“Yes..Just a little lightheaded. Too much champagne I guess” she chuckles hoping she played it off
“Ok..Maybe you should eat a bite of something..There’s plenty of food left”
She nods “Yeah….I will…Thanks Eric”
He leans in and kisses her cheek “If you want we can skip the rest of the reception. I will let our parents know you aren’t feeling well and I can grab something to take it to our room”
Tina shakes her head “No..Your sister would hate if her maid of honor and the best man who happens to be her brother skipped her wedding reception. Let’s just go back. I’m ok”. She assures as he takes her hand in his and they walk back towards the reception.
Only Tina was far from ok…She realized then she was standing in the exact same place where Bette proposed to her in her
memory. Was it real though. It had to be. Why else would it be so vivid.
“Are you sure you are ok?” Eric’s voice brought her out of her thoughts
“Oh..Uh..Yeah” she said as she realized they were now back at the resort. She needed to splash some water on her face and regroup for a minute “Hey I’ll be back in a minute” she gestures toward the bathroom and Eric nods giving her a quick kiss.
She quickly heads to the bathroom rushing over to the faucet turning it on and quickly splashing her face. She didn’t realize someone had entered behind her.
“Excuse me..You dropped..” the voice suddenly stopped as Tina turned around and locked eyes on the woman that just appeared so vividly in her memory
“Oh my God…Ti…Tina” Bette nervously said shocked to see the love of her life in front of her and just as beautiful as ever
“Bette” the blonde squeaked out and broke down in tears crumpling to the floor. She soon found arms wrapped around and a body pressed up against her. It was all to familiar. They were in this same position 3 years ago.

What a heartbreaking beginning, you had me in tears for both Bette and Tina.
I can’t imagine what Bette felt and still feels after she let the love of her life go because Tina didn’t remember anything after her accident. I am glad Bette has such a amazing friend in Alice, a friend who i suppose literally saved her life.
It’s hard to watch Tina with Eric again, she did have a flashback about Bette proposing to her, it’s something but i imagine this story will be a slow burn before they are back together again.
This chapter was full of angst and yearning. My favorite kind of beginning… let the reunion begin!

OMG this is so good. Love the premise!!!! I feel like the story could have been flushed some more. Feels like we got three chapters in one. I wonder whether that means you will wrap up this one in a few chapters, unlike your other stories?? I love everything you write. Always keep us craving for more.
