Just The Girl – Chapter Fifty Five and Epilogue (a HYD-inspired fic)

Little did she know that that’s exactly what she would end up doing within the next half hour.

    “Shit!”

Tina cursed as the beetle stalled for the umpteenth time. Her inability to find the right mix of pressing and depressing the pedals was proving to be her Achilles heel. When switching gears, she would always release the clutch too quickly, inadvertently causing the engine to sputter and stall. She sighed as she looked around the nearly deserted side street leading up to the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank. At least she wasn’t stuck in the middle of a busy intersection like the last time. 1. Al,You have to be my favorite writer! You are so talented and gifted with words! Every chapter that I have read has made me laugh(hysterically at times)and cry (sobbing at some points) and actually feeling the heartbreak between those two! Tina running after a plane? OMG … Yes I am sorry to see you leave us for a bit but I hope You are planning the sequel!! Thank You for this wonderful Journey and I for one will be waiting for your name to pop up on my “favorite authors” list. Take Care! :)

I’m so pleased how this last chapter played out, all along it’s been Bette who’s made the sacrifices and done anything to please Tina but this was all Tina making things right and getting them back together, permanently!
