    ”Yeah,” I said and smiled through the tears, ”we came to be under bad circumstances, but I wouldn’t change it. She’s the love of my life, and I’m not ready to leave her.”

    ”I know sweetie, you want to know a secret?”

    ”Yes.”

    ”I always knew you were gay.”

    ”What? Seriously,” I asked and laughed.

    ”Yep, do you remember my friend Chloe Marks?”

    ”Oh yes.”

    ”You had a crush on her, I could tell.”

    ”How?”

    ”Well, you were always smiling, getting her whatever she wanted, touchy, and so annoyingly giggly, plus,” she said and I stared at her, ”I had a crush on her too.”

    ”What? You’re gay, um, were gay?”

    ”Yes, I was and I still am, even though I have passed.”

    I close my eyes and I can hear Bette’s voice. I smile because her voice gets low when she’s turned on or when she’s talking to me about our future in an intimate setting. I smile as her words become clearer and clearer.

    ”Tee, when you wake, I promise to take care of you forever. I will never let another secret come between us. I love you baby. I always have, since I first saw you. I never slept with Nadia, or anyone else for that matter. I’ve never thought of or looked at another woman since I met you. You’re all I’ve ever wanted and all I’ve ever needed. I love you Tee. I can’t live this life without you. Please come back to me. Please.”

    I heard her sobs, then they started fading. I cried out and sobbed. I have to find a way to get back to her. I’m not ready to leave that life, I can’t. I felt an arm on my shoulder, then she pulled me into a hug. I cried freely into her shoulder. What is it do I have to let go? Then, I realize what it is, she lets go of me and nods.

    ”Remember that day?”

    ”How could I forget?”

    ”Have you told Bette about me?

      At first i thought it was Bette who was in a coma, but you had Tina living between dead and life.

      I am very happy that you let her wake in this chapter, many writers would have tortured us by letting her waking up after a couple of more chapters ????

      I am so happy you are back and I hope you will update 50 Shades of Bette Porter soon.

    3. I have enjoyed this story, don’t think I read it in the past. Hope that their accident was truly an accident and not caused by nadia or eric. nadia is one crazy fool and I fear for them while she is out of jail because I don’t think she will go away, quietly or otherwise. You have done a great job writing this one. Now i will go back and find your other stories to read. Patiently waiting for the next chapter. Thanks for posting the story.
