”Oh for the love of-” Bette rolled her eyes, ”Give me the keys!”

She snatched them away before either girl could protest and headed towards the car without another word. Alice and Tina watched her momentarily speechless, silently wondering as to what could have annoyed the brunette so much.

”Can I at least have shotgun?” Alice called out to her best friend.

”No!” Came the shouted reply, making Alice pout and look to her sister in annoyance.

”This is all your fault” She said through gritted teeth, pointing an accusing Tina at finger before walking off after Bette and leaving her confused little sister behind.

”What did I do?” Tina asked to no one in particular, her arms outstretched in a shrug before she quickly followed suit. An unaffected Carmen and Nadia weren’t far behind.

”So Tina” Bette asked after a few minutes of silence, glancing at the blonde through the rearview mirror, ”I hear you’re gay now”

Before Tina could even hope to respond, Alice whipped her arm to the side and slammed it into Bette’s chest. Bette had caved and let her take the front seat after all, regretting her decision as she let out a whoosh of air. She looked to Alice with a confused, innocent shrug.

”She’s not gay” Alice defended.

Tina rolled her eyes, ”Why do you keep saying that?”

Carmen and Nadia pulled out their cell phones as they readied themselves for yet another argument between the two sisters.

”Because you’re not, Tina” Alice responded, ”You don’t know the first thing about being gay”

”Oh like you did research before you realized you were into women”

”Actually, I did” Alice responded smugly to which Bette snorted in response. Alice shot her an evil glare, silently telling her best friend to remain silent.

”Whatever. You’re so full of crap” Tina rolled her eyes again, clearly not believing her sister’s lies. Bette smiled as she kept focus on the road.

”Why does it matter whether Tina is experienced or not?” Bette dared to intervene as she glanced at Alice, ”How else do you expect her to learn? Besides, I doubt Tina will have any trouble getting girls to notice her. She’s hot”

It was a simple slip of the tongue but one that Bette didn’t regret. It was the truth after all.
