Never Say Never – Chapter 2

    ”I think you’re way hotter”

”Right?!” Carmen sat up and looked to Tina eyes wide with excitement.

The blonde chuckled. Ever the modest one, her friend.

”Hey, where’s Nadia?” The brunette asked when she realized the last member of their trio was missing.

”In here!” Came the shouted reply from the bathroom before Tina could even think to answer.

Nadia was Tina’s roommate and had been best friends with Carmen since high school, the ”someone” that the brunette had been looking for that first day.

Carmen looked to Tina in question to which the blonde made a plucking motion near her eyebrows. Carmen nodded in understanding and laid back against the cushion as she raised her magazine in front of her face.

”So what are you guys doing tonight?” Tina asked as she licked the tip of her finger and turned the page of her magazine.

Carmen shrugged from behind her own magazine, ”No idea. Nadia said it was a surprise” She lowered the magazine and looked over at Tina as an idea filled her, ”Hey, why don’t you come with us? Or do you have a date with that coffee shop girl”

Tina sighed sadly, wishing that were the case. ”Nah, I haven’t seen her since that day actually”

Carmen’s face dropped in clear disappointment for her friend, ”Aww Tina, I’m sorry. I hope you see her again one day. I know how it is to have a girl stuck in your head. It sucks”

”Sure does” Tina chuckled, a wave of nervousness coursing through her body.

She had told her friends all about the incredibly beautiful Brenda the day she met the stunning blonde but left out one important detail for valid reasons. Tina was embarrassed to admit how she knew about Brenda’s weekend whereabouts, knowing that would come up the moment she told her friends where the blonde would be.

With things looking the way they did, Tina soon realized that her embarrassment didn’t matter. She didn’t see herself making an appearance at The Planet so there was no harm in admitting to her little secret.

Still, she was rocked with nerves as she played with the corner of a page on her magazine. Her checks heated in a blush, ”I know where she’s going to be tonight”
