So today Tina took the boy for a stroll in the park. They feeded the ducks , that is, she did and Danny enjoyed watching. Finally Danny fell asleep. Tina brought a book along to read but she couldn’t read. The only person on her mind was Bette. She really enjoyed yesterday together. And she noticed that Bette was a tease and had a sense of humor she liked.
What did she knew about Bette? She didn’t know anything about her past. She didn’t know if Bette was involved with someone or just came out of a relation. She didn’t know if Bette was gay. Did she love children? Tina realized that she didn’t know anything about Bette to be honest. And Bette wasn’t too eager to talk about her past. Did she had something to hide? What Tina did know was that she was developing feelings for that beautiful mocha skin woman……..She smiled and looked at Danny and thought back about her pregnancy……….

She had this boyfriend named Frank. Frank was a player but being simple as she was back then, she thought he truly loved her. But he only acted like he did to go to bed with her. His thrill was sleeping with virgin girls. Once he’d taken their virginity, he was done with them. That’s what happened to Tina. He stuck to her a little longer because she was a very pretty woman even back then. So they dated for a while and that’s when Tina got pregnant.
When she told her parents about her prenancy, they were furious. So she drove to Frank’s place to tell him, about what she thought would be, the happy news. On the contrary, Frank didn’t take the news that good. He called her all kinds of names. He even called her a whore, telling her that she could never be carying his child. That really did it for Tina. Totally devastated, she stepped into her car and drove away. She didn’t pay attention to the road and was caught up in a terrible car accident in which she lost her baby. Her parents, being orthodox Christians, didn’t come to visit her at the hospital. They said it was God’s wrath for what she’d done. The only ones to visit her were her brother and sister. That really killed it. It was then and there that Tina decided that when it was time for her to leave the hospital, she wouldn’t go home again. She talked about it with her close friend Dana. Dana on her turn, talked about it with her parents and when they heared Tina’s story, they decided she could stay as long as needed with them.
So when the day came and Tina was discharged from the hospital, it was Dana and her parents that waited for her and took her home. Dana’s parents treated Tina like they treated Dana. If you didn’t know any better, you’d say, they were her biological parents. Tina wanted to pay for her stay but Dana’s parents didn’t want to hear of it. They even paid her college money so she could finish her school. Much to her dislikeTina accepted it but soon she felt at home. Dana’s parents were completely the opposite of her parents. They discussed everything and usually those discussions took place after dinner; the Sunday evening dinner. They would sit and discuss all kinds of subjects. So at one of these discussions, Dana’s father asked Tina why she never brought home a boyfriend. And if it was because she was attrackted to women. Tina started to blush and Dana’s mother’s eyes shot daggers at her husband.
She told Tina that she didn’t have to answer the question. Tina swallowed, thought about it and then decided to answer the question.
