“Thank you. Thank you very much!” Bette said. She felt honored.

“No, thank you, I never had that many people in my bar. Candice is a very good singer but the two of you are a rare combination. So it is me who has to thank you, therefore the drinks are on me. You’re welcome anytime you’re around. Did Candice told you that on Sundays it’s jamming time?”

“Yes, she did. I like your place, so you might see me around.”

Bette shook the owner’s hand who’s name was John.

“Thank you for the offer, John. Glad to meet you. Maybe untill next Sunday.”

Bette left. On her way to the door, a few customers, shook her hand and told her she had a wonderful voice. Bette thanked them and walked out. While walking, she opened the enveloppe Candice gave her. She found a fifty dollar bill in it with a note.
Bette smiled, that was easy made money. Maybe she should change her mind about singing.

Well the black area was more than fun. She really enjoyed her afternoon. She should bring Tina. Tina…..she hadn’t think about her and now she popped up. She wondered how Tina spent her Sunday.……….

Tina’s Sunday
Tina always spent her Sundays at her friend’s house, babysitting her little babyboy, Danny. Her friend Alice was a single mother. Tina got to know her through the store. She came there when she was pregnant. Happy as can be. She was going to set house with the father of her unborn child.
But then one day she came into the store, devastated. Her babies father left her. Said he wasn’t ready to be a father. He found that out after his girlfriend was 4 months pregnant. Tina felt very sorry for Alice and she talked to her and soon they became friends. Tina was there when Danny was born and since then she was there whenever she could. But Sunday’s were her day with the boy. And that was the day on which Alice could have some alone time. In the beginning Alice found it hard to leave her baby with Tina but when she saw how Tina treated the boy and how her baby reacted on Tina, she finally could let go. In the end she appreciated her alone time. Tina enjoyed the time with the baby. Thinking she could have had a child by herself if she didn’t had that car accident.
