    Shane walked away without a word leaving Alice to contemplate her unanswered question.

    Emma let out a deep sigh as she leaned against one of the four bathroom sinks lined up against the wall, her hands gripping either side of the porcelain. Her eyes flickered to the door, her heart stopping with a painful pang as she heard the sound of multiple voices approaching the door.

    She froze until she heard the same voices fade away and let out a breath she hadn’t realized she had been holding.

    A favorite song of hers suddenly blasted from the speakers and Emma found herself more annoyed than ever. She hated that she would miss out dancing to the beat, the paparazzi that had intruded on her party reducing her to hiding out in the bathroom.

    Whoever had tipped them off to her being in town, she hadn’t a clue but Emma was determined to find out. She made a silent promise to make their life a living hell.

    A woman burst into the bathroom suddenly and Emma jumped at the booming sound. She thought she had locked the door, clearly she had been wrong.

    “Quick, lock the door!” She shouted at the blonde who jumped and spun around to bolt the door without a word. When she turned around, Emma recognized the woman and offered an apologetic smile.

    “Sorry. Those fucking vultures will literally follow you anywhere”

    “You mean the paparazzi?” Tina asked as she remembered the bunch with cameras swarming around the bar. She made her way over to the sinks, “How did they even know you were in town?”

    “No idea” Emma sighed heavily, “But I’m going to kill whoever tipped them off”

    “I can’t imagine having to deal with that all the time” Tina leaned over one of the sinks and examined her face, ensuring all her makeup was still neat and in place. “There’s no privacy”

Ok this is by far my favorite story lol.. there so much going on and strong love that just can’t catch a break… and Emma has to be the most blind person I know.. how all this time she hasn’t figured out Tina is the ex and Bette loves her.. lol. She forget the costume she has on is not her own and taste Bette breath to know there is no way in hell she could have known it was her. She is so freaking shallow and you dont love Bette she dont fit in to your world at all. Lol love love love your story. thank you.

    8. I was reading this chapter again and realized I didn’t end up leaving a comment the first time so I had to say just how much I am absolutely LOVING this story!

      I knew there was gonna be a good old switch as soon as they were alone in that bathroom but reading it through was better than I could have imagined!

      Hope you’ve got the new chapter just about ready to go!! You are super talented and I was floored by the fact that some of the lines you used in this story were actually used in GenQ before it even aired (“no, *you* need space”). Keep up the good work and looking forward to more!

    18. Ahhhh oh my god. I hope she can tell Tina and Alice tells Tina Bette was going to her I hope she understands that Bette wouldn’t do that with Emma. But ahhhh I can’t wait for the next chapter. Oh I really hope you will continue this fic but I hope Tina will understand that it was the mask change that threw her off and they can finally finally just be together. Ahhh I can’t not have this story unfinished please continue
