    “I’m used to it, I guess” Emma shrugged as she spun around to mirror Tina’s actions, having been made self-conscious of her appearance. She used her pinky to trace a ghostly line around the line of her lips, “It’s just sometimes they can get a bit pushy, trying to find a story where is none.

    Tina had a hand gripping the sink when she slipped at Emma’s words, her face nearly smacking into the mirror. “What?”

    With another roll of her eyes, Emma turned around to lean once more against the sink.

    “Supposedly Bette was spotted yesterday in LA with one of the models from my agency” She gripped the each side of the sink with a sigh, “They’re just trying to stir up drama because Bette has been MIA since her show in New York and I’ve been on my best behavior”

    Tina raised an eyebrow as she pulled back from the mirror. She had no idea how the brunette had dealt with something for so long, especially considering Bette had always been such a private person. Maybe Bette cared more about Emma than she led on to put herself through something she had to have hated.

    She looked to Emma with a shake of her head, “That’s ridiculous”

    “Tell me about it” Emma hung her head and stared up at the tiled ceiling, “The worst part was that I couldn’t find Bette to put all those rumors to rest. Like I know she hates the paparazzi and hides from them any chance she gets but I haven’t seen her for most of this party”

    “It’s not really her thing” Tina said with a single shrug of her shoulder, “Bette’s more of a stay at home and read type of person”

    “So she’s told me” Emma rolled her eyes yet again and focused on a spot on the floor.

    “I used to tease her that she had old lady tendencies” Tina chuckled, affection in her tone. “She rarely went out but when she did, it was only for a few hours and she was usually home before midnight”

    Emma looked at Tina through the corner of her eye, her head still facing forward. “You know her pretty well”

Ok this is by far my favorite story lol.. there so much going on and strong love that just can’t catch a break… and Emma has to be the most blind person I know.. how all this time she hasn’t figured out Tina is the ex and Bette loves her.. lol. She forget the costume she has on is not her own and taste Bette breath to know there is no way in hell she could have known it was her. She is so freaking shallow and you dont love Bette she dont fit in to your world at all. Lol love love love your story. thank you.

    8. I was reading this chapter again and realized I didn’t end up leaving a comment the first time so I had to say just how much I am absolutely LOVING this story!

      I knew there was gonna be a good old switch as soon as they were alone in that bathroom but reading it through was better than I could have imagined!

      Poor Bette, she’s not gonna get out of this one that easy. Thanks for continuing this story and please please post soon!

      Hope you’ve got the new chapter just about ready to go!! You are super talented and I was floored by the fact that some of the lines you used in this story were actually used in GenQ before it even aired (“no, *you* need space”). Keep up the good work and looking forward to more!

    18. Ahhhh oh my god. I hope she can tell Tina and Alice tells Tina Bette was going to her I hope she understands that Bette wouldn’t do that with Emma. But ahhhh I can’t wait for the next chapter. Oh I really hope you will continue this fic but I hope Tina will understand that it was the mask change that threw her off and they can finally finally just be together. Ahhh I can’t not have this story unfinished please continue
