    Chapter 12 – B&T beginning

     

    “I am only twenty six, mother” Tina started saying but was quickly interrupted.

     

    “So is Kelly and do I have to remind you we are returning from her wedding” Mrs. Kennard tried to say as calmly as she could. Her daughter’s love life was something that had always worried her. It wasn’t Tina’s mother intention to be cruel or mean she just wanted her only daughter to have what she had: for her to meet a nice man and have a beautiful wedding and give her cute grandchildren. Probably what every old fashioned mother wants.

     

    “I know where we’re coming back from mother, but please and just for once listen to me when I speak… stop trying to set me up with guys of your liking and telling me what to do or how quickly my biological clock is ticking… I’ll live my life the way that I see it fit and that’s the end of it” Tina said firmly, indicating her mother that this conversation was indeed over.

    After they arrived to the airport, they said their good-byes and the blonde was back on the road again, heading towards her apartment. She still couldn’t quite get her mother’s words out of her head.

     

    Well now I know my parents are gonna flip when I give them the news The blonde kept on thinking really sad but also relieved because for the first time in her life she truly knew what she wanted and she was literally on her way to get it.

     

    Later that afternoon Bette had finally settled in the beach house. It had been a hectic weekend, both physically and emotionally, and now that it was over she was feeling the effects. But even as tired as she was she still couldn’t stop thinking about that beautiful blonde, and for the first time in a very long time Bette was looking forward to return to LA.

     

    The brunette was too tired to cook and she wasn’t actually hungry so she settled with a big mug of coffee and the latest book from one of her favorite authors. It was getting late, and the sun was showing its final rays over that incredibly blue ocean. Bette just sighed at such a beautiful view wishing she could share it with one special blonde.

    5. Awwwwww, new love is so exciting. So happy Tina went back to be with her. They are going slowly and learning things about each other. Hope Tina can stay the whole time if Bette wants her to. Loved the update and hope in the next chapter they will continue their dance, etc. Thanks for posting. PPVS

    9. I think my mum and Tina’s mum are related. LOL! Well done again…you may have had a harder time writing this one…but I thought it flowed well from the 2 girlfriends moment (T & K), the parents + Tina moment, and then the 1st date. Oh, so sweet!!!!

    15. Ok this habit of yours must put to a stop before it became a regular habit? but may i say, aww, here they’re come, and it’s going to be a long night ahead of them.
