”You up for the hike, Cole?” I hear Danielle ask Cole.

My eyes look over at Cole.

”No sand castles?”

”Not today, buddy.” Tina says shaking her head with a smile.

I look across at Tina and smile. I think about my comment on Cole last night with Tina, about the whole beach becoming a land of little sand castles.

We all make our way out of the restaurant and into the lobby again.

”Meet back here in 15?” Alice says.

”My fine ass hiking will not be good.” Kit says.

”I’m sure you got this girl.” Tasha says following Kit into the hall.

I laugh and watch as everyone goes there ways.

”T, do you need help with the kids?”

”I can help out, Bette.” Danielle says.

I nod.

”I already have Cole’s swim shorts on, so its all good.” Tina says with a smile.

”I can come with you Mama B.” Angelica says. ”Since I wanna hang with Rachel.”

”You mind?” I say looking at Tina.

”Of course not.” She smiles at me.

”God, isn’t it beautiful here?” Helena says as I hike behind her.

”It is pretty spectacular.” I sigh with relief and then look behind me at the kids.

”Isn’t it beautiful, my babies?” I ask looking at the kids.

”Mommy it is so cool!” Cole says with excitement.

”We’ll take a break at the top of this hill!” Alice says with a smile.

As Alice leads the group, Tasha suddenly sneaks her way back to us.

”I need to speak to all of you guys without Alice being there and as you may know. That is very difficult.”

”If you tell me what is it, I’ll keep her away.” Tina cuts in.

”Excellent.” Tasha says and I watch her pull Tina to the side.

Seconds later I notice her facial expression brighten with joy.

We make it to the top of the hill and stop in our tracks for a break.

I walk towards the fence that overlooks the island. I lean against it and take in the view before I look back at Tina speaking with Alice and leading her off further from the rest of us.

”I have decided to ask Alice to marry me.” Tasha announces.
