Pieces Of Time – Chapter XV

    —

“You told me, no more.” I say looking into Danielle’s eyes as we lean against a railing of a bridge that crosses over a water fall.

“I told you that it was important.”

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had to bring along your phone, instead of sneaking it from me?” I sigh.

“I didn’t think it would be such a big deal, Tina.”

“If this matters to you so much Danielle, why don’t you just do it.” I confess. “And I’m not telling you to go away.”

“Admit, you want me to leave.”

    “I have not said that.”

    “You don’t have to.”

I watch as Danielle walks away and to the other side of the bridge.

I stand there and stare down at the water.

“This is tiring me out, baby girl.”

I turn my head to see Kit.

    “Everything alright?” She asks me.

“Of course.” I pull a smile.

“You know you can tell me, right?”

“It’s really nothing, I promise.” I continue to smile.

    ..

“Are you coming to dinner tonight?” I ask looking at Danielle as I sit at the edge of the bed.

“Would it be alright if I just take sometime to myself?”

“Uh, yeah. Sure, of course.” I then stand and leave the room.

I make my way to Bette’s door and knock.

    “Hey.” Bette says answering.

    “The kids are here right?”

“Actually they are with Rachel on the beach before dinner starts.” She says.

    “Oh.”

“Did you want to come in? I’d love to apologize about earlier.” She asks.

    “Sure, why not.”

“Do you want something to drink?” Bette asks me while shutting her door.

“Actually I’d love one.” I say sitting on her bed.

    “Where is Danielle?”

“We aren’t really speaking at the moment.”

    “Did I make it worse?”

“No. It has nothing to do with you.”

“I’m glad to hear that, and I am deeply sorry for causing a little scene.”

    “It’s fine, I know you.”

“What exactly do you know about me?”

“I know how you can react when you notice that I’m upset.”

“So you admit that you were upset?”

I sigh. “I was a little. But listen, it is nothing.”

    “How’s it going with Rachel?”

“She seems to be acting a bit distant, but I’m going to blame it on the hangover. Drinking makes everyone strange the next day.” Bette says passing me a drink.

    1. I am very excited that you found time to update this incredible story.

So Daniëlle made her decision and took off without saying goodby, she is such a coward. She didn’t deserve Tina, but i feel sorry for her.

How will Tina react as Bette stop with caring for her, it didn’t sound very nice.

Rachel and Shane must confess to Bette what happened, the truth will come out , it always does and she will be devastated.

I am still hopeful that Bette and Tina will reconcile.
