    “That’s Cole for you.” I say with a smile. “It was nice of you to stop by.” She says as she opens the cupboard to relieve many tupperware containers. “Even though, I told you to stay away.” “When have I ever listened?” “Good question. My answer is never.” “Exactly.” I smile. “I couldn’t just let

    “That’s Cole for you.” I say with a smile.

    “It was nice of you to stop by.” She says as she opens the cupboard to relieve many tupperware containers. “Even though, I told you to stay away.”

    “When have I ever listened?”

    “Good question. My answer is never.”

    “Exactly.” I smile. “I couldn’t just let you walk out of my office today and say nothing to you until you were ready to talk to me again.”

    “But it was what I wanted.”

    “You out of everyone should know when a woman says to leave her “alone”, she never truly means it. I’m guessing Danielle hasn’t gotten that memo.”

    “She has actually, she tried calling me but I just haven’t picked up the phone or read any of her text messages.”

    I watch as she stands on her toes to reach a container that is much too high for her reach. I make my way over behind they all come toppling on her.

    “Let me, T.” I extend my arm and grab the container for her.

    “I miss your long arms.”

    “Well, I could never cook so I had to be useful for something in the kitchen.”

    Another day passes as I sit at my work desk looking down at my phone. My mind is debating cancelling my plans with Rachel again tonight and lying.

    I stare at my phone for minutes just thinking, I remember Rachel calling me when I had left Tina’s last night. She understood and I had promised to spend time with her tonight.

    But I feel myself being pulled towards Tina’s.

    I pick up the phone and dial her number and wait for her voicemail. “Hey, I know you’re working, but I’m going to be here at the office for longer than I expected. My headache has grown stronger since last night and I feel so bad having to cancel on you again. Please forgive me?”

    I hang up and stand to my feet.

    Minutes later I pull into Tina’s driveway.

    I grab the bag from the convince store I stopped in before coming here.

    I knock on the door and await an answer.

    “Mama B!” Cole says with a smile.


    “Hey my man! Where’s Mama T?”

    “Cleaning my room.” He says with a guilty voice.

      The last alinea has me worried, does it mean Bette will put distance between her and Tina, after she visit Tina the last few days, so that Tina will give Danielle a second chance?

      Bette already lied to Rachel in order to spend time with Tina, that shows me that she isn’t that much into her. But she is willing to step back from Tina for the sake of Tina’s “happiness”.

      I really love this story , but i want B&T together :-(

    6. I’m back! Thanks again! Tina feels like she between a rock and a hard place. I not worried cause I KNOW that she and Bette will get back together. They just have to rebuild their foundation with each other. Keep the chapters coming. PPS

    7. Hopefully, Tina will cut ties with Danielle because she is not to be trusted with anything nor anyone. Dating for less than three months and she pulls stunts that others with more time would not do. Whether they like it or not, Tina and Bette have to admit being with each other is the real answer for them. Bette has already lied to Rachel about being with her. It is just not time for anyone else in their lives. This all started with Tina wanting more money for the family and that is what Bette was trying to do. Then Tina wasn’t happy with Bette working overtime to earn said money, and, of course, the arguments started. Tina needs to make up her mind if she truly loves Bette and I sure hope she does. It is very clear they are not done with each other yet. The love is still there. Bette was trying to get along by doing whatever Tina wanted. Not always a good thing. Thanks for posting.
