“What happened?”
“Spilt some juice.”
“Did you?” I chuckle. “That’s ok buddy.”
I shut the door behind me and place the bag on the counter in the kitchen before making my way towards Cole’s room. I turn the corner and see her on her hands and knees with a bottle of stain remover and a wet cloth.
I lean against the door watching her before I say anything.
“Looks like fun.”
Her body jumps and she looks back at me.
“What are you doing here?” Her facial expression screams confused with a smile.
“I thought I’d stop by, I brought a little something that is probably melting on the counter..”
She chuckles. “Let me guess? Ice cream?”
“You’re correct.”
“You know where the refrigerator is, why didn’t you put it in there?”
“Thought you liked cleaning up messes?”
“Ha-ha” She cries with sarcasm as she stands from her knees. “I should have never gotten carpet in his bedroom.”
“Probably not the smartest idea there, T.”
She walks pass me. “Again, Ha-Ha”
We enter the kitchen and I watch as she opens the bag. “My favourite!” A big smile appears on her face.
“I’ll never forget how much you love your Mint Chocolate Chip.”
“I’ll have to hide this from Cole until he goes to bed.” She says placing it in the refrigerator.
“Where is our daughter?”
“You should already know, the only place she isolates herself with her phone and laptop.”
“Yeah, I don’t know why I asked that.”
“Also, why are you here again tonight? Where is your girlfriend?”
“She is working!”
“So you’re bored?”
“Yes. So I’m using you.”

“I love tucking Cole into bed.” I say walking down over the stairs and entering the kitchen.
“He sure loves it too.” Tina says with a smile.
“And I finally got Angelica off her laptop.” I say. “After about 15 minutes.”
“I was wondering what took you so long.”
“Our daughter.” I say.
“You mean little Porter?”
“She isn’t little anymore but yes.”
“They keep growing in my eyes everyday and it blows my mind.”
“Yeah, I just wish I was able to see it every single day.”
“I know what you mean.” Tina says grabbing two bowls from the cupboard.
I watch as she scoops ice cream into the bowls and places spoons through them. “Here.” She says handing out the bowl.

The last alinea has me worried, does it mean Bette will put distance between her and Tina, after she visit Tina the last few days, so that Tina will give Danielle a second chance?
Bette already lied to Rachel in order to spend time with Tina, that shows me that she isn’t that much into her. But she is willing to step back from Tina for the sake of Tina’s “happiness”.

I’m back! Thanks again! Tina feels like she between a rock and a hard place. I not worried cause I KNOW that she and Bette will get back together. They just have to rebuild their foundation with each other. Keep the chapters coming. PPS
Hopefully, Tina will cut ties with Danielle because she is not to be trusted with anything nor anyone. Dating for less than three months and she pulls stunts that others with more time would not do. Whether they like it or not, Tina and Bette have to admit being with each other is the real answer for them. Bette has already lied to Rachel about being with her. It is just not time for anyone else in their lives. This all started with Tina wanting more money for the family and that is what Bette was trying to do. Then Tina wasn’t happy with Bette working overtime to earn said money, and, of course, the arguments started. Tina needs to make up her mind if she truly loves Bette and I sure hope she does. It is very clear they are not done with each other yet. The love is still there. Bette was trying to get along by doing whatever Tina wanted. Not always a good thing. Thanks for posting.
