“She came to the gallery the other day, I’ve been visiting her in the evening for the past two nights.”
“What?”
“Kit, nothing is happening. The kids are there the full time.”
“It’s not that nothing is happening, its what could happen.”
“You think I’m just one big cheater, don’t you?”
“I know what its like when it comes to Tina.”
“You don’t have to worry.”
..
I pull into LA Studios and address security at the front gate.
“Good morning ma’am. How may I help you?”
“I’m here to see producer Tina Kennard. I’m her ex wife.”
“Does she know you are showing?”
“No.”
“Would you like me to tell head desk to let her know you are here?”
“No, I’d like to keep it a surprise.”
“Ok.” He presses the button to open the gate. “Have a great day ma’am.”
“You too.” I smile and pull the car through the gates to an empty parking spot.
I make my way into the building and towards her office.
I raise my hand to slightly knock.
“I told you to give me sometime, Danielle.”
I hear her yell from the other side.
I open the door with a smile. “Not Danielle.”
“Bette?” Her facial expression looks at me with surprise. “My office now?”
“Well, I haven’t been the only one here this morning. Danielle?” I question.
I hear Tina let a loud sigh escape.
I watch her turn her head towards the back corner of her office. I follow her direction and see the flowers.
“From her?” I ask.
“Yes, from her. Then she showed up at the door. She wants me to give her a second chance.”
“And? Are you?”
“I don’t know what to do.”
She pauses and I shut her office door behind me.
“I know you told me that I should forgive her Bette, but I haven’t been with her for more than 3 damn months and she has already lied to me. Doesn’t seem like a great start to me.” Pausing again to take a sip of her water. “But then I realize that everyone deserves second chances. I’ve sure have hell given them to you.” She chuckles at me.
“Yeah, you have.” I feel this sudden difficulty in my body to agree with her but I nod. “Everyone does deserve second chances.”
“Are you stopping by tonight?” She asks me.
“Um, not sure. Rachel stopped by this morning, we went to the Planet for some coffee but then she got called into work. She told me she shouldn’t be too long tonight, so I’ll see what happens.”
“I’ve been enjoying our chats at night, when the kids go to bed.” She smiles.
“I have too.” I smile.
I look to the flowers that sit on the table in the corner of her office, and a realization hits me. I now know that all good things at some point come to an end, whether we like it or not.

The last alinea has me worried, does it mean Bette will put distance between her and Tina, after she visit Tina the last few days, so that Tina will give Danielle a second chance?
Bette already lied to Rachel in order to spend time with Tina, that shows me that she isn’t that much into her. But she is willing to step back from Tina for the sake of Tina’s “happiness”.

I’m back! Thanks again! Tina feels like she between a rock and a hard place. I not worried cause I KNOW that she and Bette will get back together. They just have to rebuild their foundation with each other. Keep the chapters coming. PPS
Hopefully, Tina will cut ties with Danielle because she is not to be trusted with anything nor anyone. Dating for less than three months and she pulls stunts that others with more time would not do. Whether they like it or not, Tina and Bette have to admit being with each other is the real answer for them. Bette has already lied to Rachel about being with her. It is just not time for anyone else in their lives. This all started with Tina wanting more money for the family and that is what Bette was trying to do. Then Tina wasn’t happy with Bette working overtime to earn said money, and, of course, the arguments started. Tina needs to make up her mind if she truly loves Bette and I sure hope she does. It is very clear they are not done with each other yet. The love is still there. Bette was trying to get along by doing whatever Tina wanted. Not always a good thing. Thanks for posting.
