“A plan?” I question.
“Yeah!”
“What may that be?”
“I was thinking a dinner at Chunk E. Cheese. Cole would love that. Then we could take a stroll downtown and enter a few art galleries for Angelica. She showed me some of her drawings and she is quite the littlest artist. And then we could end the night with some bowling.”
“Wow, you really thought of this haven’t you?”
“I have, I just love those guys. I’ve always wanted kids.”
“You’d be a great mother.” I smile.
My head lifts as I feel a presence stepping close to us.
“Hello ladies.” Kit says with a smile. “Hope I’m not interrupting?”
“No, you aren’t interrupting.” I say.
“Hello, Kit.” Rachel says smiling.
“How are you two ladies today?”
“Great, we just stopped by to have some coffee.” I respond. “I’m surprised no one is here?”
“They left earlier, Alice and Helena were hanging around here discussing plans for the trip.”
“Has Sonny given you an answer yet?”
“I don’t think he is going to come, he wants me to enjoy all the time with you guys.”
“Do you not want that?”
“Whatever makes him happy, baby gurl.”
“Shit.” Rachel says pulling out her pager. “Looks like I’m being called in anyways.”
“You’ve got to work?” I ask.
“Looks that way. I shouldn’t be too long tonight. Wanna meet later?”
“Of course.” I stand as she stands.
Her lips peck mine. “I’ll see you later.” She says to me.
“Of course. Just call me when you get time.” I say as she grabs her handbag then nods at me as she carries towards the door.
Kit then sits in her place.
“Alice told me Tina was upset with you and Danielle.”
“Alice and her big mouth.”
“What happened?”
“Danielle told her exactly what happened between us at Hit that night.” I pause and take a sip of my coffee. “Tina was upset with me for lying when she asked me to tell her the truth. And she’s upset with Danielle because she also lied to her, she kicked her out. I tried to convince her to forgive her because it was my big mouth attitude that makes everything worse but she still hasn’t.”
“When did Tina speak with you?”

The last alinea has me worried, does it mean Bette will put distance between her and Tina, after she visit Tina the last few days, so that Tina will give Danielle a second chance?
Bette already lied to Rachel in order to spend time with Tina, that shows me that she isn’t that much into her. But she is willing to step back from Tina for the sake of Tina’s “happiness”.

I’m back! Thanks again! Tina feels like she between a rock and a hard place. I not worried cause I KNOW that she and Bette will get back together. They just have to rebuild their foundation with each other. Keep the chapters coming. PPS
Hopefully, Tina will cut ties with Danielle because she is not to be trusted with anything nor anyone. Dating for less than three months and she pulls stunts that others with more time would not do. Whether they like it or not, Tina and Bette have to admit being with each other is the real answer for them. Bette has already lied to Rachel about being with her. It is just not time for anyone else in their lives. This all started with Tina wanting more money for the family and that is what Bette was trying to do. Then Tina wasn’t happy with Bette working overtime to earn said money, and, of course, the arguments started. Tina needs to make up her mind if she truly loves Bette and I sure hope she does. It is very clear they are not done with each other yet. The love is still there. Bette was trying to get along by doing whatever Tina wanted. Not always a good thing. Thanks for posting.
