    I hear a gentle knock and I turn my body towards the door. “Yes?” I respond.

    The door opens and there stands Danielle.

    “I’m not ready to talk with you yet. Please leave.” I demand.

    “Can we please start over?”

    “In order for someone to be in my life, they need to accept my children’s other mother. They need to accept that what happened between me and my ex is none of their business. It seems to me like you are finding it hard doing so, and I can’t be with someone that thinks that way.”

    “I promise you that I was stupid and it was the liquor. I swear that I never meant to get into Bette and yours business. Please give me another chance?”

    “I can’t just make this decision now, plus I have things to do. I’ll let you know when I let you know.” I feel my words beginning to seem harsh, I realize how much Danielle had upset me. “I have to see if I can get over the fact that you lied when I asked you to tell me the truth. We haven’t been dating for more than 3 months and you’ve lied to me already.”

    “Fine, I’ll give you time but all I’m asking for is a second chance.”

    I watch as she shuts the door behind her.

    My body falls back onto the bed as I feel the sweat dripping from my forehead as I stare at the ceiling.

    I feel Rachel’s hand travel from my chest to my face. “I hope this helps with your migraines lately.”

    I catch my breath and look at her. “I was not expecting sex this morning.”

    “Sex is best known to cure migraines.”

    I smile as I sit up. “Am I a part of your experiment?”

    “I’ll be happy to find out if it worked!” She smiles with a soft chuckle.

    “For you.” I place a cup of coffee on the table in front of Rachel as we sit at the Planet.

    “Thanks.” She smiles. “When you take the kids this week I have a plan!”

      The last alinea has me worried, does it mean Bette will put distance between her and Tina, after she visit Tina the last few days, so that Tina will give Danielle a second chance?

      Bette already lied to Rachel in order to spend time with Tina, that shows me that she isn’t that much into her. But she is willing to step back from Tina for the sake of Tina’s “happiness”.

      I really love this story , but i want B&T together :-(

    6. I’m back! Thanks again! Tina feels like she between a rock and a hard place. I not worried cause I KNOW that she and Bette will get back together. They just have to rebuild their foundation with each other. Keep the chapters coming. PPS

    7. Hopefully, Tina will cut ties with Danielle because she is not to be trusted with anything nor anyone. Dating for less than three months and she pulls stunts that others with more time would not do. Whether they like it or not, Tina and Bette have to admit being with each other is the real answer for them. Bette has already lied to Rachel about being with her. It is just not time for anyone else in their lives. This all started with Tina wanting more money for the family and that is what Bette was trying to do. Then Tina wasn’t happy with Bette working overtime to earn said money, and, of course, the arguments started. Tina needs to make up her mind if she truly loves Bette and I sure hope she does. It is very clear they are not done with each other yet. The love is still there. Bette was trying to get along by doing whatever Tina wanted. Not always a good thing. Thanks for posting.
