I make my way over and see her with a phone to her ear. I sigh, knowing exactly what this was about.

As I turn to walk away, I hear her voice.

“Hey!” She calls to me.

I stop and slowly turn to see her walking towards me.

“I’m sorry, it was that company.”

“Is this what it is going to be like for the entire trip?” I ask.

“That was the first and final call, I promise.” She gently grabs my waist. “I promise.”

“We are suppose to figure out what you want more. If you choose to take these calls, it makes it pretty clear what you want.”

“It was just that once.” She pulls me closer.

I nod. “Are you ready? Because I’m very hungry.” I smile.

“Yes, I am all ready. And you are also killing me in that bikini top.”

I walk towards the mirror and glance at myself. I look at my red bikini top with my black skirt that hits my knees. I turn and then grab a white tank top to throw over my bikini top.

We make our way out the door to see Bette, Rachel and the kids already waiting.

“We were just about to knock on your door Mama T!” Cole says.

“We are here now! So lets go eat and then play in the water!” I say smiling.

“You both look great.” Bette says stepping towards me and Danielle.

“I can say the same to you and Rachel.” Danielle says.

“Yeah, you both look great.” I cut in.

We all make our way towards the lobby to see, Alice, Tasha, Shane and Kit.

“Where are Peggy, Helena, Dylan and the kids?” I ask.

“They should be here soon.” Alice answers.

“This place is so beautiful, Alice.” Rachel cuts in.

“I totally agree, this resort is beautiful, girl.” Kit says.

“What did I tell you ladies?” Alice squeals in excitement. “This will be the best trip ever.” Alice smiles.

I turn to see Bette walking towards Shane.

I realize ever since Bette and I have been together, Shane was always the person we would both confide in. I never questioned if Shane had let slip anything I had talked to her about. But I do recall knowing a few of the reasons Bette would talk with her.
