Tina attempted to put her hair up so it wouldn’t get wet, but her hands were clumsy so Bette came around behind her and sat on the stool to help, loving the feeling of the silky hair as it moved through her fingers and trying to ignore the way her wife’s long, sensuous neck was slowly exposed as she finished with a messy bun.
She couldn’t resist a kiss on the back of Tina’s neck and was rewarded when Tina leaned back into it, turning her head slightly to give her more access, a faint blush appearing on her chest as Bette continued to kiss and nuzzle her neck.
Sitting behind Tina offered Bette a fantastic view – the best view really – of the downward slope of her lover’s breasts, the nipples pink and hard from the cooler air in the bathroom… the stomach flat and smooth…and the bubbles that covered the treasure below.
She coughed and stood, but Tina reached up and grabbed her by the wrist, “stay with me. Join me, Baby. Please. I need to feel close to you, feel your naked body next to mine, especially after our little disagreement earlier.”
And Bette could deny her nothing, not when she looked at her with those eyes, spoke to her in that voice. Not when bubbles were sliding deliciously off her erect nipples and revealing her body one agonizing centimeter at time. Not when her own arousal was threatening to overtake her, demand a release. Tina looked so pretty in the tub, soft tendrils of hair framing her face and her cheeks pink from the heat of the water.
But her injuries were glaring obvious as well, the bruised shoulder, bandaged knee and hand. Tina’s chin with a band aid that hid most of the angry scrap.
Bette nodded, unable to speak and disappeared for a minute. She returned with a large glass of wine for them to share and placed it on the shelf by the tub.
“You look so pretty Tina”, Bette said softly and was rewarded with a sweet smile from her wife.
”You look pretty amazing too, Beloved”

OK, OKay, back to the chptr….WhooHooo it’s finally time for the Opening but even more so the showdown with Eric in Chicago!!!! Can’t wait to see how Tibette will handle his butt!! Afterall, Tina promised Bette she would come up with a plan

Thank you for Bette’s apology! Really heartfelt. Both learned much about an open communication and still have a few miles to go. Let’s see what idea Tina has for Eric and the situation at the studio. And how Bette will react to it.

Yes, indeed. In my mind there are so many steamy, loving scenes for bathtubs. In reality….not so many. More like flooding of the bathroom, slipping in the tub etc. ;-p
I love the way Bette and Tina describe the old way of settling disagreements to their new way settling disagreements. I particularly like that they describe themselves as “overgrown toddler” and a “childish tantrums”. And the the fact that both were to bent, bound and determined to punish the other without taking into consideration of the facts. And with all that drama, they ended up working longer hours so they didn’t have to be with each other. It’s no wonder they ended up splitting up and seeking comfort and attention somewhere else.
This is how you repair marriages and damaged relationships. You stop demanding. You stop yelling. You stop accusing and condemning. You start to listen and really hear what is being said. You talk in advance of a decision. You share your hopes, dreams, and fears. You praise and compliment your partner. You apologize and take responsibility for your mistakes and misdeeds. You look for compromise and win-win solutions where everyone benefits. You realize that shit happens and do the best you can with the situation. And sometime that shit is no ones fault and no one needs to be blamed or punished for. Life is too short to take significant portions of your life in a disagreement.
I love the art work. I love that Tina knows Bette so well that she knows what her facial expression mean when she is looking at art. She sees her emotions. That is love…..
