“I love it when you call me that. Tee?”
“Yes, my love”
“Earlier. I was a complete ass. I never should have gone to the lawyer without talking to you first.”
“Well, before that. I was a complete idiot. I should have talked to you about what was going on with Eric at the studio…”
“Still. I am so sorry Baby…”
“I am sorry too Honey.”
Bette held Tina’s gaze then smiled seductively. Slowly, with maddeningly tiny movements she unbuttoned each button on her blouse, taking her time to move the button sideways, then passing it through the hole to go through to the other side. Each button unveiling her skin inches at a time.
“How many damn buttons does that shirt have anyway?” Tina drawled, her mouth dry from the vision of the honeyed skin, the curves, the slow reveal.
“Just one more, but I think it’s stuck” Bette teased, the last button holding the shirt together enough to deny Tina a complete view of her partner’s full breasts in the lace bra.
“Rip it Bette”
Bette chuckled again and opened her shirt slowly, letting it drift down her shoulders to slink to the floor. She shook off her jeans and stood in front of Tina wearing only the white lace bra and a white thong. Tina loved Bette in white, loved the contrast in color and the way Bette’s skin screamed to be touched, tasted, explored.
“Jesus, Bette. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen…” Tina said with a shaky voice.
Bette stood still, Tina’s eyes roaming her body before finally reaching her wife’s. Not breaking eye contact, Bette reached behind her to unclasp her bra and then lowered her thong to the ground.
“Those are the most beautiful things I have ever seen… perch yourself on the edge of the tub and spread your legs, I will just lay back and enjoy the view of your pussy…”
“You saw all that already today, and no thank you… Bette Porter doesn’t perch…” Bette playfully scolded her as Tina scooted forward in the tub, holding out her hand for Bette to take as she lowered herself behind her wife.

Thank you for Bette’s apology! Really heartfelt. Both learned much about an open communication and still have a few miles to go. Let’s see what idea Tina has for Eric and the situation at the studio. And how Bette will react to it.

Yes, indeed. In my mind there are so many steamy, loving scenes for bathtubs. In reality….not so many. More like flooding of the bathroom, slipping in the tub etc. ;-p
I love the way Bette and Tina describe the old way of settling disagreements to their new way settling disagreements. I particularly like that they describe themselves as “overgrown toddler” and a “childish tantrums”. And the the fact that both were to bent, bound and determined to punish the other without taking into consideration of the facts. And with all that drama, they ended up working longer hours so they didn’t have to be with each other. It’s no wonder they ended up splitting up and seeking comfort and attention somewhere else.
This is how you repair marriages and damaged relationships. You stop demanding. You stop yelling. You stop accusing and condemning. You start to listen and really hear what is being said. You talk in advance of a decision. You share your hopes, dreams, and fears. You praise and compliment your partner. You apologize and take responsibility for your mistakes and misdeeds. You look for compromise and win-win solutions where everyone benefits. You realize that shit happens and do the best you can with the situation. And sometime that shit is no ones fault and no one needs to be blamed or punished for. Life is too short to take significant portions of your life in a disagreement.
I love the art work. I love that Tina knows Bette so well that she knows what her facial expression mean when she is looking at art. She sees her emotions. That is love…..
