“Yes, those kinds of qualms. But I have another idea, one that might be easier for me to swallow and gives Jodie…Fucking wife stealing rat fuck face Jodie… a chance to… God, Bette you have to stop doing that, I can’t think…” she moaned, her hand reached up to capture Bette’s hand and press it harder into her breast.
“I am not doing anything, nothing at all…” Bette protested sweetly even as her thumb started the slow rotation again, pressing into Tina as her hard nipple answered immediately. “I think you should do whatever brings you peace, I have faith in you to do the right thing for Elena… and for us.”
She moved into kiss Tina, softly. The lightest of touches, gentle. She sucked her bottom lip and released it slowly. She looked into the tired eyes of her wife and stood up, “I’ll start the bath…you do the dishes…” she said, taking the bubble bath and duckie from the table and walking to the bathroom.
“Babe” Tina said, coming into the bathroom with a puzzled look on her face. She stopped in the doorway, her hands on her hips. “Explain”.
“It just happened Tee, but you can rest easy knowing that your favorite spatula had a good long life flipping burgers and making omelets…” Bette said immediately, glancing up from where she was pouring bubble bath into the filling tub.
“You ruined my favorite spatula, no doubt there… but you may have also managed to ruin the stove top as well…”
“I ordered a new one of those too…” Bette said quietly, shrugging.
“A new one what?”
“A new stove…”
“You ordered a new stove?” Tina chuckled, coming to run her fingers through Bette’s hair. Her thick, curly, wild hair.
“Yes Tee, through the Goggle… it will arrive this week” she said sweetly, smiling bashfully. So fucking cute, Tina thought. She could forgive her anything as long as she looked at her like that.
They sat in the hot, bubbly water across from each other, their legs entwined, and the wine poured. They had installed the biggest tub available and it was wide and long. Legs rubbed slickly on each other and the steam rose to calm and soothe. Tina laid her head back on the edge of the tub and closed her eyes, her knee popping up out of the water as she settled in. She sighed contently. Bette watched her relax in the water, feeling her own stress melt away at the sight of Tina, the bubbles, the candles, the intimacy.

I so agree with the other readers that You DEFINITELY have a wonderful way of explaining the word “intimacy”. I especially like how you’ve reminded us that it comes in levels and stages as our trust is released..

This comment cracked me up. I am finding it challenging writing the dialogue which is why you dont see me write multiple characters at once but I cant avoid it forever….
This is true intimacy….sharing of fears, dreams, memories and souls. This is really a hot chapter…..amazing that they made it through dinner… This is the Bette and Tina I imagined when the series finished 10 years ago. Actually this Bette and Tina are a bit more mature and closer in their relationship than they have ever been. Great writing….

this story answers so many questions that were left danglng in the show. B&T were really connected in season 6 and whewn B asked T to marry her we was like “Oh yeah baby, finally”!!!
Anyway, I loved that Bette confronted Tina how she (Tina) wasn’t trusting her to choose Tina over work. Bette really made monumental changes in how she approached her fears & insecurities. It was time for Tina to examine her responses too. And she did. She quickly apologised to Bette and sought forgiveness

Was just thinking about how marvelous it’s been to have your screenplay featuring our Tibette, and I’m really trying to imagine how you will fill in the blanks on Tina’s childhood. Will be interesting to learn whether or not Tee has siblings in your story and whether or not an Angelica is in the future.

Interesting idea Dumplin! I honestly didnt expect this story to go nine chapters but the words are still making their way to the page so I will keep writing. Tina is complicated, exploring her childhood and family might be a good segway to understanding her.
Out of curiousity, dont most stories on here have her with a sister?
Yes, so far Tina has had siblings. If I remember correctly, she had really cool sibs & fam in You Found Me by BnTinmyhead
