    Summary:
    The night continues....

    Bette smiles as she keeps her eyes on Mickey. “Well, I hope you aren’t cursing me too badly…. I know it’s my week with Angie. Hopefully, I didn’t ruin any of your plans for the day….”

    Tina shakes her head as she leans against the counter. “No, I told you earlier it’s fine, Bette…. you don’t have to apologize….”

    “Are you sure? I’m more than happy to come pick her up tonight or….”

    “I mean, you can if you want, but it’s almost bedtime….”

    Angie pouts and groans when she hears her mother’s statement.

    Bette sighs. “Yeah, I guess you’re right…. thanks again for being so understanding, Tina…I really appreciate it…”

    “No problem….”

    “May I speak to her?”

    “Of course….” Tina then smiles and holds the phone out to Angie. “Sweetie, it’s your Mama…”

    Angie smiles and takes the phone from Tina. “Hey Mama…. uh huh….”

    Tina smiles, amused, as she watches Angie try to climb onto the stool under the island. She chuckles, walks over, lifts Angie onto the stool, and then stands back and watches Angie have a pleasant conversation with her Mama….

    About ten minutes after she ends the call with Angie, Bette looks toward the door when the doorbell rings.

    “Doorbell!” Mickey excitedly says.

    Bette chuckles as she follows her excited son out of the room. She opens the door and sees Michelle and Kit.

    “Mommy…” Mickey says with laughter.

    Michelle looks down and smiles at her son as she lifts her in her arms and kisses him.

    Bette opens the door wider and allows Michelle and Kit to enter.

    Michelle tries but fails to get Bette to make eye contact, so she gulps and slowly slides past her wife.

    Kit steps inside and gently smiles at Bette. “I figured I’d come in just in case I’m needed….”

    Bette nods. “Thank you….” She says as she closes the door. They then walk into the living room and see Michelle sitting on the sofa, playing with Mickey.

    Bette tosses a pair of keys on the coffee table.

    Michelle looks up at Bette and then slides the keys off the table.

    Bette slides her hands into her pockets. “Mickey’s staying here…. this is his home; there’s no need for his life and routine to get disrupted by all this……”

    1. Thank you for the new chapter. Tina and Bette act as close friends, even Tina is much closer than Alice, Shane, and Dana. I wonder if things will soon evolve in a romantic sense.

    2. Bette is actually being considerate of Michelle by allowing her to get a few things and her car. And of course, they agree that Mickey should remain in his home while his parents sort things out. Why is it that people who cheat believe they will never get caught? And once they do get caught, they have no plan on how they are going to provide the necessities of life like food, shelter and transportation? At least Michelle now has her car… next problem to solve is shelter.

      Thanks for the chapter…. post as soon as you can.

    3. Thanks for posting! Not so sure Michelle really loves Bette so much. Why did she cheat then instead of opening up to her wife about her frustrations and her fears? Can’t wait to see how the talk went when Bette is ready to see Michelle.

    5. Bette is still too raw and hurt to deal with Michelle and her foolishness. She is full of regret because her azz got CAUGHT CHEATING!!! She’s not doing all that skinn’ and grinning now with her lil cute phone calls and text!!! I see she tried to worm her butt back into the house…Mickey is used to see us BOTH together. DON’T GIVE IN BETTE!!! Where the hell is AVA now… (hahahahaha) Glad Kit offered to be a go between for them with Mickey. Bette letting her get the car back was a blessing, I know it was done with Mickey in mind.
      I got NO PATIENCE for insecure azz Michelle!!!

      Tina and Kit are her biggest SUPPORT right now it seems. She is very vulnerable with them both. I’m glad Tina told her about seeing Michelle with another woman on her date night. Bette didn’t hold it against her, WHEW. Tina was in a sticky situation with that one…seeing your EX wife NEW WIFE on a date with someone else!!!

      I’m glad Tina and Bette are communicating better and are actually becoming FRIENDS.
